Labour Day, Mum Day

Julie: I am happy today because mum is home.

She says it is Labour Day and it is a holiday.

I really like holidays because I like having mum at home!!

I was outside for a shirt time.

Fall is coming and I could feel it in the sir.

It was quite cool and cloudy.

I went indoors and lay on my table with my 

favourite mat. It is fuzzy, comfy and warm.

This is also where I get most of my brushings.

 Can you tell I am a happy cat? 

 

Lazy Labour Day

 

Julie: I really like holidays. 

That means extra time with mum.

I made sure to get some sleep so I can be ready

for the extra day with mum!

I like sleeping  and often mum pats me and gives me belly rubs.

I love belly rubs .

I like holidays with mum.

I like sleeping.

I ...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

It's Friday and a Long Weekend!!!!!!!

Julie: We are lucky to have wide windowsills.

Mum says that is because this place is old.

Old or not, I love these windowsills.They are wide enough

for me to stretch out on and also purrfect for dining.

 

After dinner, I get a few treats. I love dessert!

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!

It is great to have a comfy place  to tidy up after dining.

It is also a great place for an after dinner snooze.

 That's what I call FUN!!!!

It is also Labour Day weekend.

That means an extra mum day!!!! WooHoo!
Now that will be FUN for both of us!

I wish for all of you to have FUN too!

PeeEss: Mum is impressed.

Lazy Labour Day Monday

Georgia: We are all enjoying a lazy Labour day!

JJ: Zzzzzzzzzzzzz!

Julie: Naturally the porch is my place for lazy Mondays.

Hope for Wildlife and Long Weekend!

Julie: On Monday, we mentioned that mum went to

an open house at Hope for Wildlife in Seaforth,

Nova Scotia.

Today I am sharing some pictures  on her visit.

The view on the way. There is a pond near the road before

you get to the compound.

Some of the critters mum saw.

Not sure I want to try to catch this bird!

Across the street from the compound is the 

Atlantic Ocean.

It really is located in a beautiful spot.

We are thankful that there is a place for critters to go

to when they need help.

Now that Friday is here, we are excited as this is

the Labour Day Weekend!

That means an extra mum day!!!!

Are we excited? YES!!!

And we will have FUN!!!!!!!!!

We purr you do too!

Let's Get this Long Weekend Started!!!

Georgia: Mum was working all week and now it is 

the weekend. But as it is something called

Labour Day, she will be home an extra day!

I am really excited and so is mum.

That means lots more cuddle time!

Mum is happy as the weekend will be cooler

and not humid!

Mum also likes this pic of me as it shows my

white whiskers on one side and black on the other.

Julie: I love having mum home because I believe

she is MY purrson.

I have to share her with those other 2 cats,but

she is MY PURRSON!

JJ: Yes, it is nice to have that lady around.

She is pretty good at scritches,but dang, 

she keeps working on these darn mats that are in my furs.

Oh well, bit  by bit they are disappearing.

Besides, we will all have FUN !

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia:  Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

Oh hi! We are all just having a nice lazy,long weekend!

Even mum was lazy. She read some books and went to 

an outdoor play. It was about some guy called Julius Caesar

It was put on buy a local group called Shakespeare By the Sea

Mum said it was good.

 JJ was in the next chair keeping me company.

Julie was enjoying the sunny window!

We are all happy  because mum is home today as it is

Labour Day!

Mum is happy too.

A long,long, time ago we got this fabulous award

from the pawsome gang at Pets Overload!

We are hounored that they chose our blog too.

As you know, there are so many great blogging friends 

out there.

We started by reading many of their blogs and mum got a camera

and we started blogging too!

That was 10 years ago.

Mum likes helping us blog  because:

#1-It acts like a diary and she can see how we(and our friends) 

have changed over the years.

She can also see what events were going on too.

#2- With so many blogging friends, you have access to so much

great information that can help keep  us happy and healthy.

Blogging is fun and easy to do.

There is no obligation other than to have FUN !

Let's Get This Weekend Started !

Julie: Last night, I was not happy!

Mum came home and picked me up and then...THEN

she put me in the PTU!!!!!!

PTU= Personal Transporting (Torture) Unit

Then she took me to the Vet!

I want to go home NOW!!!!!!!!!

Well! That didn't work.

I suffered through my checkup and it was not that bad.

They did steal some of my bloods though!

Mum said they want some pee too. Sheesh!

I am happy to  be home and looking forward to doing lots of this

all weekend.

We are all excited too because it is a long weekend.

Labour Day Monday with Georgia

Georgia: I like sitting in windows. There is always a nice view.

The view out of this window is mostly trees though.

There is also a spider web outside. 

There is  nothing in it right now though.

The spider must be hiding.

Treasure was wandering around. He gets nervous when mum

has the camera. Then again, iy does not take much to 

make him nervous!

JJ is on the porch. He loves the porch as much as Julie does.

JJ and Julie love to relax on the couch.

They are enjoying having mum home as much

as the rest of us.

We see treats and scritches  ahead.

Labour Day Monday with Georgia

Georgia: Hi friends, how are you today?

I am really happy because Mom is home.

It is a holiday called Labour Day.

I love having Mom home. 

She brushes me and gives me great scritches.

I bet I can even score a few treats!

It has been quite warm for September.

JJ loves the heat and has been spending lots of time

on the porch. Mostly in snooze mode.

Treasure has been enjoying the extra Mom time too.

He also likes to follow Mom around.

We wish all our friends a 

Julie also is happy Mom is home today.

She also loves the sun on her panther furs.

Finally Friday and Long Weekend !

Julie: I am a happy kitty. It's Friday and that means the

weekend is here and that means Mom will be home.

It's also a long weekend and mom will be home Monday too.

Mmmmmm,lots of playtime and scritches ahead!

Mom had a laugh the other week. Earl the Squirrel saw Mom

in the patio door on the back deck.

he felt brave and started to advance toward her as if he

was going to attack.

Sizing her up with a beady eye.

Making himself look big to scare her I suppose.

Oh! Is he going to attack?

Nope! He got scared and ran off the deck!

No wonder Mom laughed!
