Julie's Sunny Weekend

Julie: We had a really nice  weekend!

Saturday did have a bit of rain.

 Sunday was the sunny and perfect for.laying 

in the sunbeams!

Here I am in the kitchen window.

This was on the porch! 

What a great place for relaxing and snoozing.

The sunbeams were so cozy and warm.

I also spent some time window gazing.

It is fun to watch the birds even if I would

rather chase them. Heh,heh,heh!

 I got lots of scritches and belly rubs.It was a great weekend

and I am a lucky cat to have so many great spots where

I can relax and snooze and play.

I hope your weekend was good too !

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: On Saturday we had a really stormy and very 

cold day.It was windy with gusts up to 80 kph

and wind chills of-16 C !!

We also got a dusting of snow.

Sunday was much better.

We had sunshine,less wind and temps around 2C

A lot of the snow melted. More will melt this week

as rain is in the forecast.

I like warmer temps and this time change we had 

gives us more sun at night. I like that.

For those of you that forgot about my extra toes, 

I am showing off one of my paws.

Mum says it looks like I am, wearing mittens.

I have fur, I don't need mittens.

Julie spent some time sitting in the bathroom

window enjoying the sunshine with Big Kitty

to keep her company.

Then she went to the kitchen to lie in the sun.

She is looking forward to having supper "early"

We think we should keep this time(DST) all year long!

We like the light at the end of the day.

For now, we will enjoy having supper earlier!

Georgia: Hi friends. I do like a nice lay in 

when the morning comes. It tends to be busy around here.

I like to take my time getting up.

Saturday was pretty rainy, but Sunday was

lovely and sunny!

JJ likes to be up and after breakfast, he likes to be on the 

porch.It was sunny on Sunday

This is the view we had on Sunday morning.

It was still a bit misty, but the sun burned it

all away.At the bottom of the hill, you can see

our burning bushes.

Here are some closer pictures.

Off to the side of the house are these tall decorative grasses.

Mum likes grasses and she got these from her sister.

Julie enjoyed her weekend too.

Georgia: Mum says I spend too much time snoozing.

I think it's because the only time she has a camera in her hands

I am laying down!

See mum! I do get up and about!

I do like that nice blankie a lot though. MOL!

Do you remember the BIG storms we had

that left us with all this snow?
It was like we got Winter in one week!

Well, we had a lot of rain Saturday night and it washed 

a bunch of snow away! More of it melted as we have

had mild temperatures this past week too.

Mum says this week will also be sunny and mild...

at least until Thursday. Then it might cool down again.

Earl the Squirrel was enjoying the sunshine yesterday.

He was enjoying the sunflower seeds mum gave him.

He was also afraid she was there to take them back!

As it was sunny yesterday, you know what that means.

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: We had a pretty good weekend even

though Saturday we had heavy rain and wind!

It was a great day for scritches and snoozes.

Yawn! Oh, I'm still a bit sleepy.

Sunday was really windy but sunny.

The only thing about this storm is that it blew the warm

temperatures away. Now, it is a lot cooler.

That's OK though. It's nice and warm indoors.

I am cozy on mt comforter too.

JJ is comfy on his comforter too.

Treasure usually keeps me company, but he is 

wandering around and pondering life while

he sits on the bottom shelf of the bookcase.

This was the view from the porch on Saturday.

You can see at the bottom of the hill is a big puddle.

We got 69.6mm (2.75 in) of rain!

Sunday was sunny though the puddle is still there.

My little sisfur Julie enjoyed the weekend too.

Man-Squirrel Monday with Earl and Julie Ladycat

Julie: Well, the other cats are all having a nice snooze,

 so I am doing the Monday post here and also

on House Panthers.

As you can see, it was sunny on Sunday.

Today, we are getting a mixed bag of weather.

There will be snow,ice pellets,rain and snow.

Guess I'll be joining the nappers.

Earl dropped by early Sunday morning to get the sunflower
seeds mum puts out.
He's lost his head over the seeds! MOL!

He chews through those seeds pretty fast!

Easier to access when you get in the stump.

Guess he's going to be busy for a while.

This is what our yard looked like Sunday.

I'll show you what it looks like today when mum

gets home from work,

Since it was sunny on Sunday, I had a blast on the porch!
