Mum is on Vacation for a Week!!

Julie: So! Mum said she is on vacation next week.

I thought that sounded wonderful!!

Then she said we were going  back to her sister's

place where we sent in the Summer!

Noooooooooooooooooooooooo!

It is a nice enough place, but there are 

2 other cats living there.

We never meet, mum and I will have our own suite.

Still, it is not home!!

However I will be with mum and she will 

make sure I am comfy and have lots of attention.

I may not be commenting as much...darn!!

 See you in a week!!!

Julie After Dark!

Julie: Mum was late getting home and I wanted

to go outside. She said it was dark, nut I still wanted 

to go out.

Gee! It IS dark out here!

Maybe I will come back indoors. 

There is not much to see in the dark!

Maybe tomorrow I can go out if you are not late again.

I hope so too Julie. Summertime roadwork

is never fun  to contend with when you want to

get home!

There are clouds in the sky and they are

making the moon  a bit spooky.

The moon will be full on Sunday,August 22.

It will be the Sturgeon moon.

It will also be a "Blue moon"

Last night, it was a mysterious moon.

Well, I am looking forward to Friday night.

Not only will mum be home for the weekend,

she will be on vacation for a week!!!

Oh the belly rubs I will get!!!!!!!!!

Super Friday!

Hey look what we saw this week!!

We saw a red finch.They do not visit often.

The red finch is sharing the feeder with

a yellow finch. We see the yellow finch most often.

While it was neat to see these birds, we had

to do it from inside as we are not allowed out.

Darn!!

Georgia is enjoying some treats in her room.

She is not eating well, but she is eating some.

Mum is watching her carefully.

Julie: Darn! Mum caught me with the camera.

Should I look?

Well, I am sure you want to see my face in addition to my profile.

I guess that was not so bad.

Bet you wondered why we called it "Super Friday" right?
It's because mum is on VACATION!!!!!

Oh boy, just think of all the belly rubs for a week!!!!!!

Finally Friday

Well friends, another week has passed and it is a new month.

Mom told us something really exciting too !!!!

She is taking next week off!!! A staycation!!!

Her sister in Ottawa is here visiting. She and her family 

are staying with a sister  near  a town called Wolfville.

 Mom has 3 sisters and 2 brothers. They will be getting together 

and doing things in Halifax and other places as they choose.

I will choose to be here ,having glorious naps!!!! Heehee!!

Yeah Georgia, napping sounds like fun!

I will nap in this chair. I am happy Mom will be around, 

but not happy she will still be gone most of the days.

However, I will be able to wake her up by making biscuits 

on her belly like I do most mornings!!! She will like that.

Gee Tillie and Georgia, this all sounds strange to me.

A staycation?? Oh well as long as Mom is still around!!

I am still not sure of you kitties yet!

I do not want to be nervous. Oh dear, I need to lick this leg!

Hi Mom! No I am not licking off all my fur!!

I am still hoping they will grow back.

The Vet thinks it could be an allergy. 

Maybe I am allergic to the other cats!!!!

Julie, I don't think so.We will figure it out ,but for now

you just enjoy yourself. My staycation means I will not 

be getting up SO early for a week. That makes me happy!
