She has a lump on her belly that will be
removed. I am hoping it will not be anything bad.
I will keep you updated.

Also, please keep dear Paula in your thoughts

Purrs for Treasure

UPDATE:
It is Tuesday evening and Treasure is still in the hospital.
His kidney numbers were elevated and so was the liver.
We decided to have Treasure stay foe another day  and give
him more fluids and an antibiotic in case of infection.
We want to see how he responds to this treatment.
As of this morning he was still depressed.
We will see what tomorrow brings for this little cat.
Thank you all so much for your love and purrs.

Could you send some purrs to Treasure.

Sunday night he did not want any supper.
He had vomited a bit and just wanted to lay down.
Monday morning, he was ready for breakfast and ate.
When I came home from work, I could see that he had vomited again.
He was also very lethargic and seemed depressed.

I called my Vet(after hours line) and she agreed to meet me at the clinic.
Treasure received fluids as he was so dehydrated she could
not get a blood sample from him.
We decided that Treasure would stay at the clinic overnight
and they would do the bloodwork in the morning.
Hopefully this will tell us what is wrong.
He is 19 and on Aventi for kidney support.

I will update  you Tuesday evening.
Thank you, the mum (Nancy)

Treasure is Not Feeling Well

The Mom: Treasure is not himself today. He was fine
Thursday, but did not want to eat on Friday or this
morning so I took him to the Vet.

The good news is that nothing major stands out.
His potassium is down a smidge. His liver also has minor issues
as he has an elevated bilirubin count. These things can
make him feel sad and have no energy.

He was given some fluids and a shot of Cerenia so he
would not get sick. He will be on an antibiotic
(Metronidazole) for a few says. If he is not showing
improvement by Monday, he may have to go back.
The other thing is that as he was fine one day and
sick the next it could be too early in any sickness to
determine what is actually wrong.
I will be watching over Treasure and hoping for
a big improvement.
Thank you(in advance) for your purrs.

Special Monday Wish

Hello friends. It's Georgia.
Today I have a special request.
Our dear sisterkitty-in-law Misses Peach
is feeling quite poorly. She is not eating.

She is 18 1/2 years young and a wonderful kitty.
She is loving and caring and a great friend to
all kitties,woofies and creatures.

She is a beautiful kitty we met in 2007 when
our late brother Mickey met and fell in love with her.

and were very happy until
our brother went to the bridge
on March 11,2011

We are afraid that she may be getting ready
to leave for the Rainbow Bridge.
We do not want her to go, but we
do not want her to stay if she is
too sick. We ask that you keep this special kitty in
your thoughts and prayers. She will need all the love
you can give her. Her Mom  and Lapdaddy too.
We know she misses Mickey, but we will miss her
if she goes.
Dear Misses Peach, whatever you decide,
please know we will always love you!!!!
