Lazy Good Friday

Today is Good Friday and Mum is home with us.

It is cool this morning and there is a little freezing rain,

but it will warm up by lunch time and change to rain.

So what is a kitty to do on a rainy day?

 Sleep!

Georgia loves to sleep on the floor vents with warm air

blowing into her body.

JJ is  nice and cozy in a pile of blankies.

 Treasure is also snoozing on the blankie.

Julie: Yup, the rain makes a kitty tired.

Mum let me have a little snooze on the dryer.

The laundry room is always warm, but I can only

get in here when mum is around.

On Monday, we had snow, but not as much as was predicted.

Today, most of the snow is gone again.

The coming week will be warmer , so most of  the remaining

snow will melt.

We look forward to seeing the grass turning green.

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: Guess what? It's raining,that's what.

It rained on Sunday and it's raining today.

It will rain until Wednesday.

We do need the rain as mom says the ground and forests

are dry. However, as indoor kitties, we prefer sunshine.

So, what can you do when it rains?

NAP! That's what, and we do it quite well. See?

Treasure and I are on our blue blankie.

JJ has his favourite pillow in the living room.

And Julie? Well, that girl is young and always on the move.

She has a sleepy spot on top of a filing cabinet, but

she uses that overnight mostly.

Sunday in the Rain & Fog

Georgia: We have had a lot of rain and fog lately.
It makes me a bit sleepy.

Just a nice stretch before my nap!

Tillie: I'm on the porch and I do not see the sun either.
Where is it Mom?

Mickey: I'm looking out the window and I see wet trees.

Hmmmmmm, my red blankie looks mighty cozy.
I just might have a nap too!

It was super foggy on Friday!

Another Rainy Day

Tillie : It is raining again today!

It started raining Saturday night.

Mom,is it going to stop anytime soon?

It makes it hard to watch birdies and squirrels!

The rain is making Georgia sleepy.
