Rainy Weekend Means Nip Party!

Georgia: With the weekend being quite windy and rainy,

mum thought we could use some fun.

What better way to have fun than with catnip!

Finally Friday and It's the 13!

Georgia:  It's Friday ! That means extra mum days.

Why are you looking at me like that mum?

No, I am not scratching the chair...much.

JJ: Mum says we might see rain this weekend.

That's OK, I won't get wet on this porch.

Treasure: It doesn't have to be Friday the 13 for

me to be nervous.

I'm like that all the time.

Well, maybe not when mum gives me scritches.

Julie: I like Friday the 13.

Some people think I am bad luck because of my

black furs! I think that is silly.

Mum says I am cute and very lovable!

I also like to stand on my tail.

These are my eyes.

Are you scared?

How about now?

Yup, BIG spider season is here again!

Mum is not impressed. She is not a fan of spiders,

especially ones that are this big!

It is a Fishing spider, or wharf spider

Mum wishes it would fish anywhere else!

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: Sunday was rainy. I don't like rain much, 

so I prefer to have a snooze on a comfy blankie.

It's nice as I can watch mum on the computer.

She pauses often  and gives me scritches.

It's a win win!

JJ was having a snooze too, but something caught

his eye.

He had to have a better look.

So did Treasure.

Julie had been snoozing in her bed,but she got up

and went to the kitchen.

Treasure and JJ were watching Julie. But what was Julie watching?

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: Guess what? It's raining,that's what.

It rained on Sunday and it's raining today.

It will rain until Wednesday.

We do need the rain as mom says the ground and forests

are dry. However, as indoor kitties, we prefer sunshine.

So, what can you do when it rains?

NAP! That's what, and we do it quite well. See?

Treasure and I are on our blue blankie.

JJ has his favourite pillow in the living room.

And Julie? Well, that girl is young and always on the move.

She has a sleepy spot on top of a filing cabinet, but

she uses that overnight mostly.

Finally Friday

Georgia: As you can see, I am laying here having a nice

relaxing time. It is rainy outside and will rain all

weekend.That will be OK as Mom will be home all weekend.

She will give me lots and lots of scritches!

I can hardly wait!

JJ will miss being on the porch as lots of wind will come 

with the rain and Mom will keep the door to the porch closed. 

Treasure will also be kept off the porch.

He will not mind too much as he also likes to snooze

and be close to Mom.

Julie, well, she pretty much follows Mom all around the house.

She has Mom so well trained that Mom goes out to pick some

grass for her!

Julie loves grass. Actually, so does JJ, but he is not 

always around when Mom brings in the grass.

He is usually off snoozing.

She may not get any grass this weekend if it is too rainy.

Julie: She might brave the elements if I ask her to.

I'm sure she will not mind getting wet for me.

She likes me!

Whatever your weather, we purr you all have a 

FUN weekend !

Finally Friday with Georgia and Rocky

I am happy today for two reasons.

One, it's Friday and that means Mom all weekend.

Two , it is a long weekend and that means more Mom !!

Monday is Canada Day !!

I plan on doing lots of this!! Heehee!

I also plan on getting lots of scritches from Mom too.

I also plan to keep an eye on this guy!!

We call him Rocky Raccoon.

He is in the birdfeeder eating the seeds !

Here he is sniffing the air.

Mom took the pictures from the kitchen window.

He checks to be sure the coast is clear.

He looks at Mom to make sure she will not chase him.

She didn't!!

When the seeds are gone, he goes away,probably

to the next house.

Mom took a picture of the super moon.

We only saw it foe one night before the clouds came back.

The clouds and rain are back and will be with us

until Sunday! Mom hopes they change that forecast !

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: Well friends, we survived that storm called Andrea.

Mom said it went inland a bit more, so we did not get the

huge amounts of rain we could have gotten. Whew!

It was a good weekend to hang out in this nook, hang out with

 Mom and grab some cozy snoozes with my siblings.

We should have sun today, but that darn rain will be back 

Tuesday.We are tired of rain. It means that the Bird 

and Squirrel channels will not be as good.darn!!

JJ enjoyed some time on the porch and Mom said he was in

 "good lighting". That's "Mom speak" when she has her camera.

Treasure did not care what was going on. He was enjoying

lots of sweet dreams! We all might join him too!

Finally Friday

Georgia:

Oh boy, it's Friday and that means Mom time !

Good thing as it is sunny today, but will rain all weekend

,so we can snuggle with Mom! We love snuggling!

Tillie:

I am looking forward to Mom's chin scritches and belly rubs!

Julie:

I am going to try to keep Mom to my self !!

I am not good at sharing and Mom says I need to learn.

I will take my time learning. Heehee!

Tiger:

I am going to relax and snooze lots! I went to the Vet yesterday

and I am doing well. I have more pills for my asthma and new

  food for my arthritis. It is called, MediCal Mobility Support with

things like glucosamine in it to make me feel better. All i

know is that it tastes yummy !!

Treasure:

I like looking outside! I hope there will be things to see

in the rain. Maybe that silly squirrel !

JJ:

Yup, relaxing and Mom time are on my list!!

The more rain, the more Mom. I love those belly rubs too !!
