Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: Mom did her annual  tour thing with 

her sister on Sunday.

She was gone all day which meant I did not get to spend

time on the porch.

I am not too upset as it was kind of cold, but I did

miss her being here.

She helped decorate this place.

Then she and her sister visited 3 homes all

decorated for Christmas. She said they were fabulous.

I told her I had a great nap! MOL!

I think Julie was a bit more put out that 

Mom was away on Sunday.

Thoughts on Friday

Georgia: I an hoping to get Mom to lay on my

blankie  and snuggle with me.

Julie: I am going to help Mom with the laundry.

JJ: I am hoping to get Mo m to give me some belly rubs.

I love belly rubs!

Treasure: I want Mom to look out of the window with me.

I like her company.

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: Mom wanted to take some pictures of us,

but it was pretty dark.

She used her flash, but I do not like laser eyes!

This picture is only a little bit better, but I chose not to sit

around while she played with her camera.

I have other things to do and there are other cats.

 This picture of JJ turned out pretty well.

Even Treasure came along to do some posing.

Mom also took some pictures of Julie.

Friday with Treasure

Treasure: Hmmmm, not too much going on outside.

Maybe I will try another view.

Nope, nothing to see here either.

Guess Critter TV is not on right now.

In that case I think I will find a comfy spot and relax for a bit.

This looks promising.

This sofa on the porch is always a good place to sit,think

and have a snooze. It has blankets and soft towels to 

lay upon. Yes, this spot will do nicely.

Another weekend is upon us.

No matter what you do I hope you all have FUN !

Good Napping Day !

Georgia: Today is a great day to enjoy some snoozes.

Outside it is cold with some sun and wind and rain when mom

comes home from work in the dark.

Yup, we are happy to be indoor cats!

Mom has our poofy comforter and a cozy blankie for us.

It is nice and cozy which is a good thing as she turns

the heat down when she goes to work! 

Can you believe that?!

As you can see, Treasure is not impressed.

However, it does not prevent us from our snoozes.

Julie is sitting in the windowsill.

She likes windowsills.

Let's Get This Weekend Started!

Georgia: Once again it is Friday.

It was a good week for us as Mom was off on Wednesday 

and took a vacation day Thursday. Now, when she comes

home tonight, we have her for the weekend.

Oh boy, lots of scritches and brushies!

Can you see how happy I am?

Julie looks forward to porch time and her box.

JJ wants to soak up the sunbeams.

Treasure looks forward to warm sunshine and getting scritches

from Mom too. 

Because today is Friday the 13th, we give you a black cat

picture. Now you can have good luck!

Remembrance Day

Today is Remembrance Day.

Today is a day of remembrance for the men and women,

and all the animals,who have served and continue to serve

our country during times of war,conflict and peace.

We are thankful  for all the rights and freedoms we enjoy today

because of our Veterans.

This is the tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Ottawa.

After  the Remembrance ceremony, people leave their

poppies on the tomb. 

"They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them."

Georgia: Hmmmmmm, that looks like some tasty crumbs.

I must check them out!

Blech!!!

Not as good as I thought!

Oh well, I can't let that get in the way of having

a nice comfy nap.

Yup, that looks like a good spot.

Never let anything spoil your desire for a good nap in a sunny spot!

Julie likes snoozing on the porch too.

Georgia: It has been a while since we did close ups.

We thought we would share some today.

This typically means Mom was busy are,more truthfully, lazy!

Georgia, the Poly-dactyl Cat

Georgia: On Monday, Mom showed pictures of me

enjoying a grand snooze on the porch  from this

past weekend. I also mentioned that I have

extra toes and that Mom loves them.

Here, you can see my "thumb".

I have 5 toes on my front paws.

Too bad I cannot do (open) anything with my extra digit.

Darn!

This is my back foot.

Here, you can see I have 6 toes.

Between toes 5 and 6 it looks like I have another toe.

It is just that one toe is big.

My extra toes are not a record or anything.

It is not as common to have extra toes on front and back though.

It just means that I am special to my Mom in many ways.

She likes my extra toes and likes to touch them.

They're just toes Mom!
