More Light,Fluffy Snow We Didn't Want

Julie: Well, we had a snowstorm yesterday.

The good thing was mum came home early.

We got a bunch of snow, but mum said it was 

light and fluffy and easy to move.

We are both happy that March is here.

That means the snow will not last especially

as we have rain and much warmer temperatures

coming over the weekend.

We are looking forward to Spring!

Monday with Julie

Julie: Our pal Earl the Squirrel is in good contrast

with the dusting of snow we had Saturday morning.

It was not enough to cover the seeds mum pot out.

Once the sun had a chance to shine for a bit,

the snow quickly disappeared.

Georgia and JJ are pretty good pals and like

to sleep together.

They did a lot of this on the weekend.

Sunday was a sunny day and I loved being on the porch.

Critter TV was pretty good. The squirrels were running around 

all over the place.

The only thing better than watching them would be

chasing them. To bad I am not allowed out.

Sunday morning after sunrise the sun was shining

on the branches of a tree. The branches were wet 

and a little sparkly in the early morning sun.

Mum really likes the effect, but it was hard to capture.

She will need to practise.

All in all, we enjoyed our weekend

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: I was on the porch this weekend.

Mum brushed me lots and I loved it a lot.

I agreed to do a little posing for her.

Finally Friday

Georgia: We are happy the weekend is here.

We are not happy that it is raining for the second

straight weekend! It was sunny all week !

The only good thing is that mum will be indoors more.

maybe that is a bonus.

JJ: That's right Georgia. I like having mum around as I get

lots of scritches. What I don't like is her working on some of the

 matts  in my furs! She has removed some big ones and I must

admit, I feel better.

Don't tell her I said that!

Julie: I also like the sun!

It feels so good on panther furs.

Since we will not have sun this weekend, I look forward to

mum reading.

I really like snoozing in her lap!

Good thing she has lots of books and loves reading.

Housework? Not likely. Reading wins out most times.

That works for me!

Finally Friday

Georgia: I am glad it is Friday. This week was a bit cool and 

mum says that it will be warmer this weekend and next week.

It's about time as it is the end of April.

However, mum says Saturday might have a little rain with it.

Oh well, as long as mum is home and I can get lots of scritches 

I'll be happy.

JJ: I am happy it's Friday too.

I love to snooze and the porch is comfy as long as it is warm.

Mind you, I can sleep almost anywhere.

I also sleep better when mum is around.

Julie: I am looking forward to porch time!!

I hope it is warm and sunny as mum comes on the porch to read.

When she does, I like to sleep in her lap.

 I  curl up in her lap anywhere she decides to read , 

but the porch is most fun.

One evening when mum was coming home from work, 

she heard a noise that startled her.

This is what she saw!

The deer was also startled and ran back in these woods. 

Mum went indoors and looked out the kitchen window.

Sure enough, the deer came back.

Here he is running across the driveway.

Turns out there were two deer!

They ran across the road  into these woods and up the hill.

Mum has lived here for about 10 years and this is only the 

3rd time she  has seen deer and all of these times have been

in the past 2 years.

They are bigger than us so we are glad they are outdoors!

 Well, time to get this weekend started!

Finally Friday!

Georgia: It's finally Friday and I am looking forward to 

lots of mum time.

I am also looking forward to snoozing on the porch!

JJ: I totally agree with Georgia.

The porch is the best place for naps.

It's just off the kitchen.

Julie: Oh you just know I'l be on the porch!

The views,the sun ,the time with mum!

I'm so happy!

Treasure: I'm not sure where I will spend the weekend.

Maybe just trying to avoid that flashy box!

Where ever you choose to spend the weekend, 

we purr you have a FUN one !!

Georgia: I got to enjoy some time in the sunshine!

It was so nice and it felt good too!

 Julie is still enjoying the wonderful mat we got from the 

the kitties and Ellen at 15 and Meowing.

Oh yeah! She likes it a lot!

He knows it's getting close to treat time.

When treats are on the go, Treasure is never far away.

Treasure and JJ, though they are 19 years old, still are

very active and have great appetites!

 heck, we all love treat time!

We also love weekends with mum.

Georgia: For today's post, we are presenting pictures

from Dec 3, 2012

While I am younger here, I have not changed in looks very much.

Julie had been here for 5 months.

She looks like she is quite settled in here and decided early

on that the porch was her favourite place to be.

JJ  has not changed too much though he is 18+ years old now.

Treasure shows the most change.

He is also 18+, but his furs have mats and he does not

like Mom working on getting them out!

He is still quite active and has a very good appetite.

Hey, it's also Friday and that means the weekend is here.

Let's Get This Weekend Started!

Georgia: Once again it is Friday.

It was a good week for us as Mom was off on Wednesday 

and took a vacation day Thursday. Now, when she comes

home tonight, we have her for the weekend.

Oh boy, lots of scritches and brushies!

Can you see how happy I am?

Julie looks forward to porch time and her box.

JJ wants to soak up the sunbeams.

Treasure looks forward to warm sunshine and getting scritches

from Mom too.
