Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: I'm trying to decide if I should have a nap in this
box . Hmmmm...

Nope. I will not snooze in the box. Mom has that
flashy box, so I think I will choose another spot.

JJ: This blankie is cozy and I like sleeping here.

Treasure: I don't want this box either.

Gee! Should I change my mind?

Our lights are all lit up and look bright at night.
Mom says there are not enough green  and blue lights in
these strands. She calls then "fiesta" lights
because all you see are yellow, orange and red lights.

This lovely wreath was made by our sitter.
We think he did a great job!

What is Julie doing and why does she look so blurry?

You can find the answer at House Panthers.

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: Today is a bit cool so I am going to have a snooze
inside  and not on the porch.

I love this fuzzy envelope, but I am on it and not inside.
I am happy because Mom is off this week. She is using
up her vacation and we are happy to have her around!

JJ was on the porch yesterday and said the sun was
warm on his furs. On the porch, there is no breeze.

Treasure also thought it was cozy on the porch yesterday.

Yesterday, Mom put up the Christmas lights.

They look pretty. Soon, Mom will decorate inside.
Oh dear! I hope she does not move my snoozy spot for
decorating!

When Winter comes, the ducks come back around here.
There is a lake and a river that empties into the lake.
The ducks stay there all Winter. They have discovered
that Mom puts out seeds and cracked corn.
I think we will be seeing more of them this Winter!

If you want to see a dusty panther, pop over to see
Tillie and Julie at House Panthers.

What Mom Saw

So, on Monday I told you that Mom & her Sister
went to another Tea & Tour, then went to see Mindy.
Well, on the way home Sunday night, this is
what Mom saw.

This is a big house in Halifax that was really decorated.
It had lots of lights and little scenes.

A "Charlie Brown" Nativity

This is the back of the house

A collage of house lights

Even tractors were decorated!!

Lights in front of a downtown hotel.

Lights at Parade Square in Halifax

Parade Square from the street

The tree with City Hall in the background.

A ship called the "Mattea" in Halifax harbour.
It was getting ready to move to Bedford Basin
as a big, windy storm was due to blow in on
Monday. It WAS a huge storm too!!
Many communities outside Halifax suffered much damage.
We were indoors,cozy and dry!!
