Georgia - My Weekend Was a Bit Quiet

Georgia: My weekend was quiet because mum was not

 around very much.

Where was she?

Here, at the annual Christmas Tea and Tour put on

by her sister's church. She and her sister helped

setting things up and getting things ready for the guests.

They had fun.

Back at home I saw Julie trying to make up her mind 

about something.

Miffed on Monday!

Georgia: This weekend I enjoyed some porch time,

watching Critter TV and generally relaxing.

Then something happened!

You let introoders in the house!

The Mom: Yes Georgie, two of your furcousins are here.

This is Cookie

and this is Mike

Their folks are going to visit their son in Vancouver,BC.

Since these kitties need medication, we agreed that 

they would be happier here than being boarded at the Vet's.

Do you think you can all get along for 3 weeks...sort of?

Monday Musings with Georgia and Furcousins

Georgia: Mmmm, the porch is nice and warm.

I really like this time of year.

JJ likes the porch too.

In addition to window wiffies, there is lots to see outside.

Treasure thinks the porch is a good place to contemplate.

Know what else happened this week?

Mom went to visit our furcousins Mindy and Moe.

Mom's sister and her DH were away for a few days

and Mom and a neighbour looked after them.

Mindy likes to sit in the window and watch the action

in the backyard.

Guess not much was happening !

Moe agrees. The backyard was quiet for the moment.

He figured Mom should give him a treat.

He did not get one,but he and Mindy got some

stinky goodness with their supper !

They both loved that!

Julie did a photoshoot that did not go as expected.

What Mom Saw

Georgia:  As you know, I let Mom do a post from time to time.

One day, she went out with her sister and BIL.

They went to this place, Little Harbour.

It is located along the eastern shore of Nova Scotia.

It is a place where there are fishing boats.

This fishing boat was in port.

This boat was just coming in.

Good timing Mom.

Getting closer.

Almost here.

 Taking the catch to the fishing shack ans to the

truck for weighing and transport to market.

Here are seagulls hoping for a snack.

They did not get any. 

Neither did we.

Neither did Mom.

We enjoyed a good snooze while Mom was gone.

Mom said we might get some sun on Saturday.

It rained Thursday and today, and will rain Sunday.

We hope it is nice where you live.

Finally Friday

Georgia: Happy Friday friends !! This is an older picture of me

taken when we had sunshine.We did see some on Sunday 

then the sun went into hiding. While it was sunny, Mom saw some

interesting things that I will share.

Mom was at her sister's place and saw this cute fellow in Aunty's

 garden. This is a chipmunk, and he was keeping an eye on Mom!

Then, they went to the boardwalk on Halifax Harbour.

They saw this fishing boat and wondered what he was doing.

It appeared he was looking for something,perhaps a trap fell in the

water .They did not pull anything up and soon went on their way.

Halifax Harbour is an active shipping lane, 

so no fishing is done in the harbour.

 Further down the boardwalk, Mom and Auntie spotted these

crazy lights! They thought they were cool !

While they were off doing the exploring thing, we were doing the

snoozing thing!! Here are 5 of us .

Tillie likes to snooze by herself unless Mom is around.

It appears we will have more rain for the weekend, so we will be

doing lots of snoozing and snuggling with Mom.

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia : This Monday is a rainy day,though it is warmer than

 it was on Saturday. It was sunny but cold. Sunday was cloudy

and Mom was off once again doing her annual Tea and Tour

with her sister.

 As it is cozy on the porch when it is sunny, we are 

showing how much we like the porch.

Last Friday, Tillie was looking through the holes in this box

and Mom thought it was cute. 

Well,Tillie is NOT the only kitty who can do that and look cute.

See!!

 Tiger also enjoyed the sun,

and wanted to let you know she likes to sleep in places

other than her box.

 My silly sisfur Tillie appears to find plastic tasty!

 As the newest kitty around here, Julie still likes to keep an eye

on Mom and her flashy box. She will probably get over that soon,

heehee

 JJ likes to have a bath in the warm sun.

Treasure wanders about in search of a good spot.

He likes to be on the ledge too.

So there you have some of our cozy spots on the porch.

Monday Musings with Georgia

Hi friends. I have lots to show you besides me!!

However, I will let you see me first as I know you all like that!

This is a big moth that was on the deck.

Mom was on her belly for this shot, heehee

This is what his wings look like.

Then, she went to a parade!! Our little community has 

Fiesta Days , and it starts with the parade.

Some interesting "critters" in this parade!!!

Look!!!! Even our vet was in the parade!!!

 After the parade, Mom went to the Vet's office as they were

 holding an open house to celebrate 3 years at this location.

Sunday evening,there were fireworks. 

We do not like them as they are too close and loud!

Mom took this picture from the front door.

Mom was also at her sister's place for Saturday night.

I will tell you about that later, because there is lots to tell!!
