Finally Friday

Mom says she will be busy this weekend!

You are right Tillie. Mom  will be busy with Auntie Bean

visiting with this bean from the Poupounette blog.

You all know her as #1 and she will be in Nova Scotia

this weekend!! Very exciting!!

Mom and Auntie Bean may also visit this island in Halifax Harbour

It is called George's Island.

Doing these things will keep Mom busy, so we may as well

do some quality snoozing this weekend until Mom gets back

then we can demand some scritches and treats!!!!!

Monday Musings with Georgia

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!! huh? oh,hi!!

I have been napping lots lately as it has been pretty warm.

Mostly,though, because Mom has been out doing things

away from home!!

She was away Thursday and again Saturday.

Needless to say, she owes us BIG time !!!!!!

Especially as this is our 1100 post !!!

Saturday she went to the 25th Anniversary of the Halifax Pride parade

There were a lot of entries and the parade was long

Here is a policewoman and police horse.

There were lots of woofies and some dressed up!

Lots of people were singing and dancing on floats!

All kinds of people promoting all kinds of things.

Mom giggled at this guy.

He's also going the wrong way, heeheehee !

Mom liked this guy's head wear. It is all butterflies!!

All in all, almost everyone was in the parade,

and everyone had fun !

We just made sure we got LOTS of attention when she finally

came home!!!!

Monday Musings with Georgia

HI friends. I'm spending some time relaxing and 

checking on things around the place.

Mom was away a lot of the weekend

visiting with Grandbean.

Yesterday, Mom put up the outdoor lights

because it was sunny and pleasant.

I am going to show you some of the decorating

 Mom and her sister did  to get ready for the Tea

and Tour.

They made these peppermint patties 

for the bake table and they all sold.

Here, the hall is ready for beans to come in 

for the tea. The lady in green is Bonnie, 

and she looks after the tickets  and does a

 lot of organizing.

The wall hangings belong to Mom and her sister.

Mom's sister made most of them too.

Here are a bunch of Santas that are all handmade

Mom made the big Santa in the middle

as well as the plaid Santas sitting down .

 The fundraiser was a big success and

everyone had fun!!!

We were glad when Mom came home,

because she gave us all scritches and treats!!

Friday Close Ups

It's Friday and the sun is shining!!!!!!!!!!

The weekend is here and we are happy.

Mom will be home,but she is doing something 

called Spring cleaning. We're not sure

what this means, but we hope we get some time to visit!

Mom has been pretty slack about helping us this week!

She also says that it will be sunny and warmer!!

That means a lot of snoozing in the sunshine!

We have not visited much.

Mom says it is because it is Summer.

Mancat Monday

It was a pretty good weekend. Saturday was sunny.

Mom got me some grass to eat and we all got scritches!!

Then Mom went out with her Mom and sister.

They were gone a long time.

That was OK, we all enjoyed the sun.

Sunday was rainy, so it was a good day to catch up on

bathtime and more snoozes.

You can never have too many snoozes !!!!!!!

Today, the sunbeams are back.

This Mancat will be having a big talk with Mom.
She says she is busy all the time and then yesterday,
she went out with her sister ALL day!!!!
I think she has forgotten her priorities!!
