Cloudy Cool Weather, But Good News!

Julie: I'm just sitting here thinking.

I did go outside for a bit but it was a bit cool and 

cloudy. I came back in  where it was warmer.

I like it much better when it is warm and sunny.

Mum says we might not get that weather this

weekend. She says it will be rainy and cool.

Next week will be better. The weather will be a bit 

warmer and mum has some really exciting news!
She will spend more time with me!!!

She says she is retiring!!!!!

Oh boy!!! I am excited!
Mum home all the time!

Mum is a bit excited too !

 Now, you just know that will be FUN !!!!

Lots of Snow!!!

Julie: Guess what? We had a snowstorm Thursday night!

Mum was glad to be home before it got bad.

So was I.

This is what it looked like in the morning!

Lots of snow! 

Mum was glad it was light and not heavy and wet.

She said it was not too bad for shoveling.

The snow did not stop the Earl the Squirrel!

He just burrows through the snow.

He really wants the seeds mum puts out.

So do the chickadees.

In the afternoon, the sun came out.

Mum and I saw a really strange bird!!!

 

OK, it was the way the snow covered the end cap on the deck

but the cap is not that high!!!

I think it really looks like a snowbird!

 Today is sunny, but we will have rain for the weekend.

Yup, strange weather  in Nova Scotia!

Strange weather, but this weekend mum and I will

be sure to have FUN !!!!

 

Finally Friday !

Julie: I like to sit here and look out on the backyard deck.

Very often I see squirrels. I would love to chase them,

but mum says no. I say darn!

 

Sometimes, I like to sit here after supper.

Mum will often give me some treats. She calls it desert.

Hurry up mum! I like treats!!!

 We are going to have a quiet weekend just hanging

out together. I like that!!!

Mum can read her books and I can curl up in her lap.

That makes me happy and it is also FUN !!!

I also want to thank all  that have commented on 

the 13th Blogoversary post.

It has been quite a good time even if I was not there at

the beginning. I look forward to doing my bit 

to keep it going.

Finally Friday !

Georgia: Well friends, it's finally Friday!

It's been a crazy weather week with rain,warm and cool

temperatures and today...sun!!

That makes me really happy.

Sunshine makes pretty much everyone happy.

It feels really good on our bodies.

JJ likes the feel of sun. His eyesight is not good

anymore and he is blind in one eye.

Still, he is a happy guy and loves attention 

and food. That makes mum happy.

With very little sun this past few weeks, Julie has had a 

hard time enjoying herself on the porch.

Way back on April 14 was the last time the sun was shining

enough that Julie could bask in it.

As you can see, she loved it a lot!

She rubs her face when she is happy.

We are getting showers on Saturday(dang)  but

the sun returns on Sunday!

You know what happens then?  

FUN happens!

Finally Friday !

Georgia: Happy Friday friends!

What a week, Mum was happy as it was not freezing cold.

We had some warm temps Wednesday and Thursday!

Today is the warmest yet at 9C (48 F)

Mind you, we get rain with that, but as indoor cats we don't mind.

Besides, the rain starts tonight,probably when mum is coming home.

MOL!

You all know that mum is lazy about taking pics,

 so we are doing our Friday close ups. Here is mine,

Julie was at the Vet for her semi-annual check up.

Mum thought she was getting,um,big.

The Vet said that she can still see the indent in  her body shape

and that is good.She should not gain any more though

Over all, she is in good shape and even her teeth

are looking good.

Julie was pleased and happy to get home.

JJ goes for his annual exam on Saturday.

We will see how this 22 year old is doing.

Finally Friday

Georgia: We are happy the weekend is here.

We are not happy that it is raining for the second

straight weekend! It was sunny all week !

The only good thing is that mum will be indoors more.

maybe that is a bonus.

JJ: That's right Georgia. I like having mum around as I get

lots of scritches. What I don't like is her working on some of the

 matts  in my furs! She has removed some big ones and I must

admit, I feel better.

Don't tell her I said that!

Julie: I also like the sun!

It feels so good on panther furs.

Since we will not have sun this weekend, I look forward to

mum reading.

I really like snoozing in her lap!

Good thing she has lots of books and loves reading.

Housework? Not likely. Reading wins out most times.

That works for me!
