Julie sitting on the Grass

Julie: On Wednesday, I was outside for a bit

and enjoyed sitting in the grass. I like grass.

Mum said it was time to come in, but I

did not want to come in.

However,

I guess I better go in as I may not be able to get 

outside again. It is always smart to listen to your person!

 I am not sure when I can go outside again as it will

be rainy for a few days. Mum says maybe Sunday

unless I want to experience rain.

Something tells me that will not be FUN!

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: We had a mixed weekend. 

Saturday was sunny and Sunday was rainy.

I spent the weekend hanging out with my good buddy JJ.

He is a good friend to snuggle with too.

OK mum, enough pictures. I want scritches and 

a good brushing now!

Julie enjoyed the sun on Saturday.

Here, she is enjoying the setting sun in the kitchen

window.She was a happy cat.

Sunday was rainy and cool so she took mum's

computer chair and had a nap.

We might see sun on Tuesday and then more rain until

Friday. We purr it will  be a sunny weekend.

We had enough of rain!

Happy Friday friends!

WE are happy the weekend is here and we have

mum home for 2 days!

We look forward to having treats,snuggles and snoozes.

Here JJ and Georgia  are sharing treats.

Actually, JJ did not think Georgia was eating

them fast enough and came to help!

Georgia thinks he is  just being greedy!

She told him to leave hers alone!

Meanwhile, Julie was practising her statue pose.

WE think she did pretty good.

We are hoping for a nice weekend but it looks like we will 

have a sunny Saturday and rainy Sunday followed by a 

rainy week. Mum said that this May is the coldest since 2005!

If any of you have extra hot weather, you can send it our way!

Looks like we will be having FUN indoors!

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: Hi friends and happy Monday!

We are having a pawsome weekend.

Mum was home for 4 days!!!!

She took today off and is going to a sister's

place to have an Easter dinner with her siblings.

We had a pretty good weekend. 

It was not sunny, but it did not rain either. 

Mum spent a good while cleaning and has lots of bags 

to throw out and donate.

We enjoyed having her around as she loves to

give us scritches and belly rubs.

Mum even took some time to work on JJ's furs.

They tend to get matted easily and when she does

not get to them tight away, he gets big matts.

It is a long process  and JJ is pretty good about

it...for a while.

He does like the attention though and the treats!

Julie is showing her raspberry. She thinks

mum should put the camera down and brush her!

She will also be happy when mum takes away the bags

she has all over the porch!

Mum says it's Spring cleaning.

Our snow is gone and all the rain we have had

is making the grass turn green!

The birds still like coming for seeds as other food sources

have not started growing yet.

The only thing we would really like to see now

is some sun!The forecast is for cloud/rain for the 

whole week and coolish temps!

It was pretty cloudy and rainy last week!

Georgia Says-Happy Friday!

Georgia: Well friends, we had a very strange weather week.

Monday was very cold. Mum almost wished she had

gloves for her commute to work!

Tuesday was warmer and Wednesday was  tropical!

Mum did not wear a coat, but took a raincoat with her.

We had heavy rain Wednesday and Thursday,

nut it stopped Thursday when mum was coming

home.

Today is a bit showery, but the sun will be out when

mum comes home.

Then it will be the weekend  and the sun will be back!!

We are looking forward to that.

JJ is looking forward to those warm rays on his furs!

Julie is looking forward to more stretching in the sun.

She will be a happy kitty again.

Finally Friday !

Hi friends and welcome to Friday the 13th!

Actually, it's not so bad. We are indoors and it is a bit rainy

outdoors. The good thing is we had sun and warmer temperatures

this week and much of our snow is gone!

The rain we are likely to have for the forseeable

future should take away the rest.

Georgia: I am going to hand out here as it is a comfy spot.

I prefer sunshine to rain and do not wish to watch it fall.

Napping is more fun.Well, getting brushed is really fun too.

Julie: JJ and I are going to chase mum around the place

to see if we can convince her to give us treats!

We do not do anything special to earn treats. We think

we are good looking ,friendly and behave well and

should be rewarded for that.

How about it mum?

Please may we have some treats?   *

* mums like it when you are very polite and are more likely 

to give in to your requests for treats :)

Whether you get earned or unearned treats we purr

Happy Good Friday with Flying Squirrels !

Georgia: Well, today is Friday and mum is home!

That is because it is Good Friday for Easter weekend.

I am happy now, but last night,mum took me to the Vet!

She said it was a check up to make sure my urinary

infection was gone. The Vet said I was purrfect!

Mt tests came back A-OK, so we came back home.

Bring on the treats mum!

JJ is in his fave place by the fireplace(that does not work).

He is waiting for some treats too.

Julie is waiting for mum to put the camera down and

run her belly. She wants belly rubs any chance she gets.

3 weeks ago, we had snow.

Earl wanted to get to the tree where mum puts the seeds.

As you can see, the snow is gone!

While we may see sun tomorrow, there is  a lot of rain

in the forecast for the coming week. Darn!

At least the ducks can see the seeds now.

Finally Friday

Georgia: Well, this week Spring came.

It also brought some cooler weather and

another storm.

Well, the storm was not that bad, but we did get snow 

and then a lot of rain. It was pretty messy.

Mum said the snow was really wet.

However today we might see some sun!

This picture was from Thursday night.

You can see the snow, but not how saturated with water is is.

We hope the rain and maybe some sun will take it away.

Mum says we might have flurries all weekend, but next

week will be warmer with sunshine!

I hope that forecast does not change.

JJ: I kinda hope I can be on the porch again too.

It is pretty nice out here and sheltered from and wind and weather.

It is a great place for relaxing and snoozing.

Julie: You know I want to be on the porch a lot.

There is so much to explore.

There is also a comfy couch for snoozing too.

We are pretty sure we will all have FUN.

Finally Friday

Georgia: We are happy the weekend is here.

We are not happy that it is raining for the second

straight weekend! It was sunny all week !

The only good thing is that mum will be indoors more.

maybe that is a bonus.

JJ: That's right Georgia. I like having mum around as I get

lots of scritches. What I don't like is her working on some of the

 matts  in my furs! She has removed some big ones and I must

admit, I feel better.

Don't tell her I said that!

Julie: I also like the sun!

It feels so good on panther furs.

Since we will not have sun this weekend, I look forward to

mum reading.

I really like snoozing in her lap!

Good thing she has lots of books and loves reading.

Housework? Not likely. Reading wins out most times.

That works for me!

Good help is really hard to find.Sheesh!

Georgia: Well, it's Friday again and we are happy.

While we are glad to have mum home for 2 days,

we would be happier if it would be sunny.

Yup, the rain is coming back.

Oh well, at least it will not be torrential rain,just showers.

We will still have FUN!

JJ: I will still be able yo have my snoozes.

I can sleep pretty much anywhere.

Now that's FUN!

Julie: I really like the sun.

It is so much more fun to dine in sunlight.

At least showers will not prevent me from having FUN!

Earl: As long as I can get to these feeders I know I will have FUN!

Finally Friday Close Ups

Well it is Friday again. We are enjoying this day as it is sunny 

and warm.Saturday will be rainy and then we will have rain

for most of next week. May was a rainy cool month with

only a few warm days. We purr June will be warmer and sunnier.

After all Summer comes in June.

 Lucky for us, mum was not busy with the camera this week so 

today we are posting some close ups taken over the past month.
