Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: Well, it was another weekend of Summer and again

 we were abandoned by Mom.

She said she was going to a family BBQ.

This is what you do at  family BBQs.

And some of this, with lots of people.

Since Mom was away, we could not visit.

We all ended up doing a lot of this,

 and this, until Mom came home(late, 10PM)!!

 At least she gave us a special dinner and some great

scritches.

Hope you all had a good weekend.

Tillie and Julie did a lot of snoozing too.

Finally Friday

Georgia: I am sitting here wondering when Mom will be home.

She is off galavanting with her sister and brother-in-law.

They have been gone a long time and supper is late!

 Oh,oh!! Are they finally home?

 Mom said they went to this place,

Clam Harbour Beach.

When she was there she saw some interesting things.

One was this purple jellyfish.

It came in with the waves, and then got washed away again.

Here are Mom's feet in the sand.

Here is the water coming in from the ocean.

WOW! THat is a lot of water !

Mom is crazy to stand in water!

This is the water returning to the ocean.

Next, they all got in the car and went to a place called 

Little Harbour

It is a fishing community and these are some of the 

boats they saw.

Mom looked in the water by the side of the wharf and

saw these tiny fish. She said you would have to use a

net to catch them as they were so small.

Did she bring any home...NO!!!

Tillie: Mom said they had a good time, but I am still

a bit miffed. Not only was supper late, but she did not 

bring and of those tasty looking fishes!!!!

Monday Musings with Georgia and Mom is Back!

Hi! Georgia here. I am ever so happy because Mom

is back from vacation!! Now I can get all the scritches I 

missed. I will sleep better too and I will have a little nap 

knowing all is right with my world.

Mom is still having some computer/electrical issues.

Maybe it is the modem.Lucky thing we got a new one

to hook up.

Even though it is hot, it is cooler inside and this sun feels

nice.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!

I love having Mom around !

Tillie is also happy as she gets to sleep in her box

on the porch!

Julie was on the porch too and loved it and Mom .

JJ is looking forward to scritches too.

Treasure was relaxing on the porch too.

He is always ready for scritches too !

While Tiger is happy Mom is home, she is ready for a snack!

Hurry up Mom !!

Stray Kitty was  happy to see Mom and he was relaxed

enough to have a snooze on the deck!

While Mom was visiting one of her cousins, she met her

cousin's kitty Lefko. His name is Greek for white.

Lefko's human Dad is from Cyprus.

Mom said he was very friendly.

This handsome kitty(can you believe Mom forgot his name? )

followed Mom and her sisters around her cousin's place.

Mom's cousin said kitty is due for major grooming!!

Bet kitty does not know ,heehee.

Georgia: Hey Tiger, what do you think about Mom being gone 

most of the weekend?

Tiger: Well, I missed her and caught up on some snoozes.

But, since she went to help her brother celebrate his

50th birthday, I guess it is OK.

I agree Tiger!! We had a quiet weekend and snoozed lots.

Mom said Uncle Bill had a great birthday!!

We are happy about that too!!

Now, let me see...I think it's time for another nap!

Hi friends!! 

Once again we had a nice weekend!

It was pretty warm and we enjoyed some sunshine.

While I did enjoy getting some sun on my furs,

I would have preferred Mom to be around more!!

She was st her sister's house again doing

something called"getting ready for Christmas"

They are working together on a project for

 their family. They are happy to get this done

and know that this present will be done

early!!

Now Mom says there is something 

going on next weekend too!

Good thing I have cozy places  around here!!

With Mom running around and being away 

sometimes, I just curl up and have a nice nap.

It's even nicer when you have a nap with 

company!!!! Zzzzzzzzzzzzz!

Hi friends. It was a quiet weekend here as Mom

went away to visit Grammie.

We all missed her, but we had great sitters .

When Mom got home, she showed us what she saw!

 Here are some hollies with lots of red berries.

Birds like these berries.

This is a small vineyard  that Mom's 

brother planted this past May.Mom helped

with the planting.The grape vines did well too'

The grapes(Chardonnay) will be ready to

 harvest in 3 more years.

I am really happy that Mom is back home.

I had to listen to Tillie squeal about winning 

a contest held at Halloween Spooktacular

It was pretty funny to see her running

around trying to get that costume off!!!

 She won for "Most Resistance to 

Wearing a Costume" hahahahaha

Mancat Monday

Here I am sitting looking forlorn.

Why, you might ask??

Mom was busy last week and was away almost all weekend!!!!

What' s a Mancat supposed to do?

I can't visit my friends.

But...it was nice on this porch, and was nice all weekend!!

It was warm enough to make me sleepy.

So, I slept! Heeheehee!!!!!

It was nice too.

Know what else was nice???

This wonderful award from Herman!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am touched.

Herman is a very handsome cat and he is not feeling his best.

We are all purring for him and we hope you will too.

Mancat Monday

I am a bit miffed at Mom.
She was away almost ALL weekend !!

I had to indulge in one of my favourite pass times .
I must admit...this was not too bad. Not bad at all,heehee !!
