Dear on Deer!

Julie: Mum was looking out the window Saturday

and this is whar she saw. A young deer in the

garden at the end of the driveway.

There must be some yount grass shoots coming up.

The green in the picture is Vinca.

The snow is gradually melting and is in places that do

 not get a lot of sun.

The deer must sense that she is being stalked and she is 

right! Mum has the camera pointed at it.

Meanwhile, I sit here waiting, and waiting for my

brushing session!!

Come on mum!!!!!!

 Fortunately, she did come and I got some pawsome

brushing time! You can see a pile of fur on the left.

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: We had a pretty good weekend. 

The weather was pretty good too and lots of melting

happened though mum said  there was a little bite

in the breezes.It is supposed to be sunny all week!

Mum hopes for lots more melting.

We do not worry about outdoor weather as we are cozy indoors.

Here is a rare picture of the 3 of us together.

Sunday, Julie was watching Critter TV from the kitchen

window.Mum said her furs were very warm.

In many places the snow melted and you can see the ground.

This is where mum puts bird seed so it is good that

the ground is clear.

Mum took JJ in to see the Vet last week as he seemed 

unsteady and yeowling as he wandered around.

Turns out his heart murmer is a bit stronger..

This week, he went back for a check-up.

He had his blood pressure tested and it was higher

so he has meds for that.

Sadly, he is losing sight  in one eye, but we hope he will keep

it in the other.

In spite of this, he is still a happy fellow and gets around

 pretty good.Not too bad for a 22 year old.

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: I am enjoying a lazy Monday.

I like this soft blankie and since Mom is at work

this seems a good place to hang out.

My brother Treasure thinks it is a good idea too.

When Mom is working on our blog, JJ likes to

snoopervise. He is pretty good at that.

We thought we would show you our Spring progress.

This is Coltsfoot. It is one of the first things to bloom

after the snow melts.

This is a tiny flower. Mom planted it some years ago

and cannot remember what it is called.

As you can see, not all of our snow has melted.

This batch will take longer to melt as it  was

where Mom shovelled the snow from the driveway.

 The long garden by the driveway also has snow .

This Yucca plant has emerged within the past week.

We will be having more rain this week, so more snow

 will be melting. That is great as some kitties here

are looking forward to getting grass to eat.

Julie was having some fun on the porch.
