Just relaxing and pondering surgery

 

      Julie: I was at the Vet today.   
    I have some lumps on my belly . 

     Next week I will have them removed.

  I had some before that were removed.

 Hopefully this procedure will go well. 

           

I will spend lots of time here as I love getting

brushed and mum likes brushing me.

I also like sleeping in Mum's bed. MOL!

Even when she makes the bed I like to sleep on the covers .

Yup! I am a happy cat!

I love getting brushed!!!!

Julie: Gee, I wonder if I can get mum to give me

some brushes with the Zoom Groom.

I really like brushings, They feel so good

and gets rid of loose fur. I also like 

the massage it gives me!

 OK! Take the pics and let's get to the brushing

part! You know I love brushings!!!

MOL!!! I do have mum well trained, but she knows

I like getting brushed and she likes to make me 

happy! We both win 😉

I had my 2nd chemo on Wednesday and it went well.

Mum and I are very happy about that!

Since I am awake, I think I will get mum to

give me some brushies!

I love them and it feels SO good!

                                                Now I can have lots of brushies to keep my furs 

                                                                            nice and shiny!

                                            Kinda like a body massage too with that Zoom Groom!!

Relaxing on Friday the 13!

Julie: Today is Friday the 13th.

Many people thing this means bad luck.

They think black cats cause bad luck.

I think that is just silly and so does mum.

Mum loves my furs as they are so soft and

silky. She also loves  the look of an all black cat. 

I am happy she does because she rescued me from

the great outdoors!

I love being petted , bit I love getting

brushed more! I always hop up on this matt

when I want brushies or to just relax.

I am a very lucky and happy cat!

The Weekend and the Wild Weather!

Julie: When mum is done taking my pictures

I am looking forward to some playtime!

After play comes brushing.

I love getting brushed!!!

 What kind of things to you like best to do with

your person?

I bet you find it FUN!!!!!!!!!

Last weekend, we had some snow.

Then some rain and most of the snow went away.

This weekend we will have more wild weather.

Rain today, then on Saturday freezing rain 

and then some snow! Maybe some sun on Sunday.

Needless to say, I do not want to go outside !

I like the temperature indoors!

Halloween Photo Shoot

Julie: These pictures were taken on Halloween evening.

It was very rainy. Not a fit night for man or beast.

Certainly not this cat!!!

                                         In return for posing, mum promised to give

me a good brushing .It felt really good too!

 

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I am SO relaxed and happy!!!!

I am also happy that I am warm and dry!

I am a lucky cat to have such a good home.

I wish all cats(and critters) did too.

 

Thoughts on a Rainy Monday

Julie: Well, today it is raining so I will not ne able to go

outdoors. Darn!

So, since you are not doing anything mum, you can devote

 all your attention to me. OK?

 

Visitors and Training Mum

Julie: Hi friends! Sunday was a wild,

windy and rainy day.

The rain would let up at times and when it did

we had visitors!

Mama duck and her babies and brought them over!

OK, so I may have chased them if I was outside.

I may have been afraid of them too.

I am not used to being outside and seeing strange critters.

 

When I went over to may table, I tried to convince

mum to brush mw. You know I love getting  brushed!

I did get my brushing, but as you can see, I wanted more!

I'll work on her a bit as I know she will give in

and brush me. She knows how much I love

the brush and it feels so good.  

MOL!!

One more thing, what does addiction  mean ?

Random Shots , Tattle Tales and Photo Fails!

Cherry Blossom. Mum figured that taking pictures

just before dark was a good idea.

It's not! She had to use the flash.

She did, however, pick some grass for me!!!

 Once again instead of BRUSHING me she has to 

take a picture. Black Cat, white mat.

Direct light from a window.

But the worst of all? Yup! She was NOT brushing ME!!!!

That is not FUN!

Do yo know what saved her?

Yup, a good long brushing session!!!!

Now that was FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's the Weekend, So Brush ME!!!!!!!

Julie: By now you all know how much I love getting brushed.

It feels SO good I can't get enough.

I ask mum all the time. Good thing she

does not mind as she knows I love it and it 

keeps my furs soft and shiney.

After getting brushed, I feel relaxed and happy.

So happy I am ready for more brushes!!!

Come on mum, I'm ready!!

 Before I go(to get more brushes) I need to tell you about

my test results from the Vet.

My kidneys are good!
Mum will make sure I get good quality food for a

cat my age(12). What does she mean by "my age"!!!

Sheesh!

Finally Friday with Julie!

Julie: I am happy the weekend is here as I love

spending time with mum.

WE look out the windows to see the great outdoors.

We see lots of critters visiting our yard.

The silliest of all is the silly squirrels!

They love getting sunflower seeds from the bird feeder.

Most often he hangs oh the feeder!

I like to have naps during the day and this bed is pawsome.

It's soft and on top of a filing cabinet that is next to a floor

vent. It is very cozy in the Winter whenthe furnace is on!

                                                                             

This is my fave spot for brushing.

I sit here often and most times mum is quick

to take the hint. This brush feels SO good!!!!

Mum can do this ALL weekend...right?!

 That would be such FUN!!!

Monday With Julie

 

Julie:Sunday morning, we had some freezing rain,

In the afternoon we had rain.

It is days like this that make me happy to be

an indoor cat!

Mum, please put the camera down after this pic.

I want some brushies as they feel so good.

It's like a massage on my body!

Do you cats and dogs like getting brushed?

I love them a LOT!!!!

 

I Love Getting Brushed!

Julie: Do you see this greenish object?

 It is a brush. I really like it s lot too.

It feels really good on my body,just

like a massage! Every time mum walks by, 

I run to this spot. I can't get enough!

 

Are you ready to brush me mum?

I am SO ready. Can you do it now?

Yes Julie, I will give you your brushing!

Lucky for me mum gives me some brushings.

Maybe that is why my furs are so

shiney and soft!

 This weekend ,mum looked out the window 

and saw a young Deer.

The had to be sneaky to get a picture so as not 

to scare the deer away.

The deer suspects something, so mem has to try

not to be seen.The green at the bottom of the picture

is part of the windowsill.

Still, she managed to get these pictures.

The deer was doing clean-up on the seeds mum

puts out in the morning.

As I am indoors, I do not mind the deer in the yard.

It is only in tha past 5 years or so that we have seen

deer around our area.

At the end of our road, there is a forest so the deer we

see must be exploring.

Dear on Deer!

Julie: Mum was looking out the window Saturday

and this is whar she saw. A young deer in the

garden at the end of the driveway.

There must be some yount grass shoots coming up.

The green in the picture is Vinca.

The snow is gradually melting and is in places that do

 not get a lot of sun.

The deer must sense that she is being stalked and she is 

right! Mum has the camera pointed at it.

Meanwhile, I sit here waiting, and waiting for my

brushing session!!

Come on mum!!!!!!

 Fortunately, she did come and I got some pawsome

brushing time! You can see a pile of fur on the left.
