Waiting for warm, sunny weather!

Julie: We have had a mixed weekend.

It was sunny and cloudy and there was

rain in the forecast for Sunday evening and into today.

I got to sit out for a bit, but it was kinda cool.

It is pretty hard to see but there is a duck

by the tree and she is enjoying some seed. She blends

in well with the surroundings as nothing

is out yet and things are still brown. Also, it is overcast.

Sometimes we see deer!

I often sit on Mums desk when she is at it looks good her 

computer. I can give her some help when she

 is doing the blog. I like to be sure it looks good. 

It will be a bit rainy until mid-week so I guess

I will have to  be content to stay inside.

I hope the rain makes the grass grow.

I cannot wait to have some nice tender, juicy

blades from the lawn!

Mum and I also look forward to the temps

going up and  feeling the warm rays of the sun.

For now, we can both look out the window and watch 

the ducks, chickadees and squirrels and maybe a deer or two.

Arrrrgh! Winter

Wednesday morning everything was nice. It was pretty nice outside.

The weather girl said we might get a dusting of snow from a storm passing by.

Thursday morning, we had 20cm!!!!! That's 8 inches!!!!!!

Worse yet, we are getting more snow tonight and a big storm Monday!!!!!!!!!!!

ARRRRRRRGH! Winter!!!!!

Earl was not too impressed.

The snow was taller than him in some areas! Hahaha!!

This picture is not too clear, but Mom circled Earl.

You can see how much snow is on the feeder.

Mom cleaned off the feeders and the green box and put out breakfast.

Earl and his friend were a lot happier and dined a long time.

Our wonderful friend Diamond Emerald Eyes made these lovely pictures for us.

Diamond is very talented. :)

Wordy Wednesday

Well!!! Merry Christmas to me! Mom went out to feed the squirrels & birds and found grass!!!!
I mean, I like my toys and treats, but grass!!!!!!!!!!!!! Heck yeah!!

Festive Friday

Our wonderful and talented friends at Zoolatry made these two very festive pictures.

We had a dusting of snow today.

Here is a picture of the snow on the ice candle holders Mom made.

She lit the tealight candle inside. Later , when there was a bit more snow, Mom started to brush

the snow off the ice candle and knocked it off the deck! Get another one out of the freezer Mom!!

In spite of the snow, our squirrel buddies still came for breakfast.
