                                                  Winnie: Gee, I have the strangest feeling that 

I am being watched!

 Oh! Hi there! I guess I AM being watched!

How are you doing friends?

I am doing well and loving this place.

As you can see I have a nice comfy bed to lay on

and I share it with mum. Or should I say

mum gets to share it with ME! MOL!!!

Mum is getting pretty lazy about posting so I have

to remind her.

I am enjoying my life here and get along with

my two furry housemates OK. There is no hissing

or anything... we just coexist well. 

I am happy to have my own home and not

living in the shelter anymore!

Remember,,,adopt, don't shop!

Julie: Just relaxing in the sun and getting my black furs hot!

Don't worry, I go inside if it is too hot..

Mum makes sure of that.

 

The full moon was shining last night.

It is pretty impressive.

 Almost as impressive as me. MOL!!!!

Julie: Just a few random pics from the weekend.

It is still pretty warm, but as August comes, it should

cool down a bit...we hope. I spent time on

the porch. Mum had the door open for me.

We had a visit from this deer. It did not

come into the yard. It just looked...whew!

Last night a robin dropped by at suppertime.

Just enjoying the evening sun.

It will be another warm week, but may start cooling a bit

come the weekend...maybe. At least the nights will be less sticky.

We just enjoy ourselves. I must say, I like having mum

home all the time. She likes it too!

Happy Mother's Day to all Mums and Cat "mums"!!

Julie: So, this is Mother's Day.

Or, as some places say Mothering Day.

I guess it counts if I refer to my human as "Mum"

She does do all the things a mum would do.

She looks after me, feeds me she gives me brushings.

I like those things.

She makes sure I am happy and safe.

She also loves me lots and tells me that every day!

Happy Friday with Julie !

Julie: As you can see, we have had some pretty nice days!

It is nice to sit on this windowsill and feel the sun

on my black furs!

I also like to sit on mum's lap and get scritches

and cuddles.
I must say, my life is pretty good and pretty soon

there will be nice juicy blades of grass!!

 

Lazy weekend with Mum.

Julie: I like sitting on Mum.

She is comfy and soft. MOL!

She is also nice and warm.

Even though we have a furnace that blows

nice warm air, I still like snuggling with mum!

I also get some really nice scritches too.

I also like the bed. It is cozy, comfy and there is lots

of room to stretch out!

We had some nice sunshine yesterday.

                                                    There was also a bit of melting going on too.

                                                           The week does not look too bad.

                                             There will be dome flurries, but no accumulation.

                                                       The daytime temps will be above 0C (32F)

       and no storms in the forecast.

Just some sun and cloudy days!

Just 14 days until Spring!

Julie: Mum's phone does not take the best pictures.

As you can see, the ducks told their friends

that there is a good place to find seeds.

 

If Mum is late putting out the seed, the ducks back up a bit.

They seem to know she has seeds and will not

harm them.

The ducks would rather have the seeds than run away from mum.

I like to hang out in this bed on top of a filing

cabinet. There is a floor vent next to it that blows

warm air. It is very cozy!

When I see mum coming my way, I hop down onto

the table. I know she will give me brushings.

I have her well trained...MOL!

 Have I mentioned that I love having mum home

all the time? 

We are having a wild weekend. There will be snow followed 

by lots of rain. The temperatures will be up and down

all week with some rain and snow.

Ae least there are no storms coming!

 

I love getting brushed!!!!

Julie: Gee, I wonder if I can get mum to give me

some brushes with the Zoom Groom.

I really like brushings, They feel so good

and gets rid of loose fur. I also like 

the massage it gives me!

 OK! Take the pics and let's get to the brushing

part! You know I love brushings!!!

MOL!!! I do have mum well trained, but she knows

I like getting brushed and she likes to make me 

happy! We both win 😉

I had my 2nd chemo on Wednesday and it went well.

Mum and I are very happy about that!

Julie Thoughts

Julie: Well, it's a new year. All the festivities are over

and we are into a new year.

As a cat, none of that matters to me.

All I know is that mum is with me all the time,

I get my food and lots of scritches 

and belly rubs.

I am a happy cat. Mum is pretty happy too as she is

lucky to be spending all her days (and nights)

with me!

 I think that is a win-win  for both of us!

Julie Snooze and Ducks

Julie: Mum puts out seed for the birds.We live close to a 

river that feeds into a lake. The ducks like the seed.

Well, it's time to do your blog.

I'm just doing what we cats do best...MOL!

Since I am awake, I think I will get mum to

give me some brushies!

I love them and it feels SO good!

                                                Now I can have lots of brushies to keep my furs 

                                                                            nice and shiny!

                                            Kinda like a body massage too with that Zoom Groom!!

Julie says you need to pay the toll to rub the belly!

Julie: As you can see, My belly furs are gone.

That's OK because you don't notice that when I

walk around.

I do, however, like when mum rubs my belly.

She has nice warm hands and it feels good.

I can never have too many belly rubs!

A Nice Way to Spend the day!

Julie: Happy Friday my friends!

Yesterday was nice and sunny. As you can see,

I took advantage of those nice warm rays!

Good thing too as it is mostly overcast today.

                                                        It was so cozy and warm in the sun!

                                              As you can see, I get  very comfy when I snooze.

                                                                                    

                                                 Sometimes a cat has to stretch out to enjoy

                                                          all those glorious warm sunbeams!

                                                       Ahhhhhhhh! Sunshine on panther fur! 

                                     Purrs you all find a nice sunbeam to warm your furs!

Welcome Back to the Chipmunk!

Julie: While mum was looking out of the kitchen

window she saw the chipmunk.

She was quite happy  to see it  as there are lots

of squirrels around!

We are not sure if this critter will stay around, but if he 

does, there will be lots of tasty seeds and sunflower

seeds. He may have to put up with birds though.

They like to drop by for a bit.

Earl the Squirrel is pretty good at chasing

competitors away. He is pretty greedy when it comes

 to foods. Not one to share.

                                        

Having said that, I must say that I don't like to share

my food either. If you want something, you need your own 

bowl. MOL!

See? I will share as long as it is in another bowl.

When I am done, I can watch Critter TV.

I really have a great view and 2 wonderful

windows for my viewing pleasure.

Friday Thoughts

Julie: Yesterday , mum was home as it was

Remembrance Day. She was able to watch the 

local ceremony on the internet and she said

it was very nice and well attended.

Since mum was home, I got to go outside.

I liked that , but did not like that is was rather cool!

 

I came back inside and decided to look out the window

from the comfort of my cat cup tower.

It is quite comfy and mum cam walk by and

give me scritches. I like that!!

I also like that it is the weekend and that means

more mumtime !

The forecast is warmer, but rainy. Darn!
Oh well, I guess that means more scritches and

belly rubs!!

 You just know that will be FUN!!!
