Thoughts on a Rainy Monday

Julie: Well, today it is raining so I will not ne able to go

outdoors. Darn!

So, since you are not doing anything mum, you can devote

 all your attention to me. OK?

 

Happy Weekend Ahead!

Georgia: We are happy this Friday.

That's because mum is taking a few days vacation!

She will only work Thursday and Friday next week.

I am looking forward to having mum around.

I will be looking forward to more brushing sessions!

I love getting brushed and I love having mum around.

It will be a pretty cloudy,rainy week and mum is happy

to stay home. I like that!

Hey mum! The Zoom Groom is here and so am I!!!

Julie: Oh how I love to have mum home.

She gives such great belly rubs!

Wait! What did you just say?!

Pawticure? Nail trim?!

I don't like pawticures!!!

HELP!!!!!!!

Georgia: Just ignore the drama queen!

Nail trims do not last long if you don't squirm Julie!

Sheesh!

Friday Close Ups with Georgia,Julie and JJ

Georgia: Well friends, it's been a quick week.

That was because mum was off Monday do her work

week went by fast.She said it was busy too so she

is going to join us this weekend in doing some

relaxing. We think we can show her a thing or two.Heehee!

The nice thing about busy weeks is that there is not a lot 

of picture taking. We did however get some close ups

gpr you to enjoy.

Here is mine

JJ is looking good even if his eyesight is failing.

He is still a happy, loving kitty.

Julie does not like to pose and that is a pity.

She does have some good lines and  pretty neat

whisker humps.

One of these days mum will capture her looking at the

camera and being relaxed.

Finally Friday!

Georgia: Hi friends and welcome to Friday!!

Today we start a new month.One that will bring Spring!

Our forecast is not playing along though.

While we will see sun today and most of

Saturday, we will also be seeing more snowflakes on Sunday!

Well, Spring is not till the 21st, so there is hope.

I know Julie is hoping for sun and porch time!

So am I.

So is JJ !

Most of all we are looking forward to lots of time with mum.

We are also looking forward to having FUN!!

Mancat Monday with JJ

JJ: Hi there friends.

We all had a great 3 day weekend with mum.

We all had fun and enjoyed the time together.

As much as we like having mum home, I for one am happy to 

get back to my routine. I like mum, but I also like my

sleep.

When you are as old as I am, you like your sleep.

Heck, we cats like sleep at any age!

Georgia was sleeping under the bed a lot. While there is a heater 

there, I think she was nervous of mum.

She was afraid that she might get taken to the Vet again. MOL!

It usually takes several days for her to realize that  mum

is just walking around and not getting ready to grab her

and put her in the PTU.

When she finally starts to relax she comes out.

I am not convinced that she is totally relaxed though.

Usually sleeping involves closing your eyes.

At least she got a clean bill of health from the Vet.

As you can see, it was a pretty good weekend.

Let's Get This Weekend Started !

Georgia: We are all happy that the week is over.

The weather has been all over the place.

We had heavy rain that washed away a lot of snow,

then it got cold  and windy with a wind chill that made it feel colder.

Now, the weekend will be warmer and we will see

more rain, then maybe snow by monday.

Makes we 3 cats happy to be indoor cats!

It has not been a good week for picture taking,

 so we are going with close ups from various shoots.

We are happy as usual because it means mum will be home

We do not have anything special planned.

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: Ack!  Ack!

Yikes! I think something caught in my throat!

Thank goodness it's gone now.

There! Now you can take my picture.

Everything is OK now.

JJ: It was a pawsome weekend to be on the porch. 

It was warm and pleasant.

My biggest decision was which way I wanted to face

when I had my snooze.

I think this way.

My little sister Julie was also on the porch.

Finally Friday Close Ups

Well it is Friday again. We are enjoying this day as it is sunny 

and warm.Saturday will be rainy and then we will have rain

for most of next week. May was a rainy cool month with

only a few warm days. We purr June will be warmer and sunnier.

After all Summer comes in June.

 Lucky for us, mum was not busy with the camera this week so 

today we are posting some close ups taken over the past month.

Finally Friday

Georgia: We are happy  that it is Friday.

We always like it when mum does not go off to work all day.

It is more fun when we get to snuggle in bed

 for a nice little while.

She gives me scritches and I really like that.

Weekends are fun.

JJ: I also like weekends. I like scritches too.

I like it  when mum feeds us.

Mum, this bowl is empty!

This, I don't like!

I like having mum home too.

When she is home,she turns up the heat a bit more 

and I am super cozy in my bed. It is close to the heaters.

I also love snuggling with mum and following her around.

We all purr that you have a good weekend.

Your weekend may not be Saturday and Sunday, but we hope

you and your folks get to spend some days together.

Above all, we purr you all have FUN!

Finally Friday

Georgia: Well, Friday is here once again.

I am happy about that  as mum will be home for 2 days.

I look forward to lots of scritches and brushings.

I can never get enough.

I am happy about the weekend though, so maybe I will

Georgia: I finally decided that I like this cat tree.

It is pretty comfy and I have a pretty good view up here. 

I can look out onto the porch,

It is also a pawsome place for snoozing.

JJ is already in relax mode for the weekend.

He is looking forward to lots of loving from mum.

Treasure would like a nice nap, but wants to get his treats first.

Julie, well, she likes to follow mum around 

and wants mum to play.

When you are only 6, you have lots of energy ;)
