Tattle Tale Friday with Julie!

Julie: Well, another week has come to an end.

Today is Friday, but that does not matter anymore 

as mum is retired. I love having her with me all day.

Just think, belly rubs on demand!

 

                                                As you can see, this nook area is my fave

                                                place. I am getting ready to jump up on mum's lap.

                                                A good stretch before jumping is a good thing.

I do some exploring when the house is quiet.

Mostly, though, I just hang out with mum. As you

can see, she likes this nook too!

      After years of being on my own all day,

                                                            I am not used  to people being around all day.

                                                            I am getting better, but moving at my pace.

                                                            Right now, I want to make my place on mum's lap!!

                                                        As you can see, Mum is still figuring out the laptop

                                                        and how things work. That is why the sentences are 

                                                        weird looking. She is more used to the desktop. 

                                                        Good thing she has all the time in the 

                                                        world, she's going to need it! MOL!!

Finally Friday with Julie

Julie: Well, it has been quite the week.

The temperatures have been up and down.

We have had sun and rain and cold!

Once again our snow is gone.

This week has been OK, downright COLD,

rainy and now back to  cold.

We are expecting sun for the next 3 days then

back to snow on Monday.

Strange as it may seem, mum says it is warmer when it snows!

These are good times to be indoors where it is cozy and warm.

I am a lucky kitty to have a cozy home.

 Now, I look forward to the weekend and lots of brushings 

and belly rubs!!

That will be SO much FUN!!!

What will you be doing this weekend?

Julie sitting on the Grass

Julie: On Wednesday, I was outside for a bit

and enjoyed sitting in the grass. I like grass.

Mum said it was time to come in, but I

did not want to come in.

However,

I guess I better go in as I may not be able to get 

outside again. It is always smart to listen to your person!

 I am not sure when I can go outside again as it will

be rainy for a few days. Mum says maybe Sunday

unless I want to experience rain.

Something tells me that will not be FUN!

Um, Julie... I don't think it works that way!

I know mum, but it's FUN to do! MOL!!!!

Finally Friday

Julie: Fine dining. I have a window with a view 

at least when it is in Spring and Summer.

Now, it gets dark sooner and there is not much to see

outside except... dark!

 

I don't mind as I am concentrating on my supper.

When I'm done, I hop down and hang out with mum.

Also, I know mum complains that I never look at the

camera . I am proving her wrong! I will do it when 

I choose to do it!  HA!

Proving mum wrong was FUN!!

As it is Friday  and the week is over, it means

more FUN will happen. I like that especially when it

includes belly rubs!

Now THAT is FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally Friday with Julie!

Julie: I am waiting for my treats and mum wants 

to take pictures.

I am not one that likes to pose, but sometimes I

humour her.She gets her pictures and I get my

treats! I really like treats.

So, I posed. You may give me my treats now.

A cat could get used to this.

Maybe I will suggest a good brushing session

or maybe some belly rubs or both.

I do love belly rubs! That is such FUN!!!

I am relaxing here. Friday has come and that  means

mum will be home with me for 2 days!

Georgia: I like drinking water. Mum says it's

good for me. I just think it tastes good.

Now that I'm refreshed, I am going to relax.

Lazy Friday with Georgia and Julie

Georgia: I love when mum replenishes the water bowl.

The water tastes fresh and cool.

I love water and that makes mum happy as I am

prone to constipation.

While I don't like the medication, I do like the treats

I get after! I also get some brushings. I love

getting brushed! I especially like having my cheeks 

brushed with the Zoom Groom

Julie: I also love sunshine. It feels SO warm

 on my black furs. Mmmmmmmm!

The warm sun also makes me feel sleepy.

I don't mind that at all .....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!!!

We have to enjoy our sun now as it might rain  later.

Mum says we may not see the sun again until Monday!!!

Oh Well, we will still find ways to have FUN!

Finally Friday... the 13!

Georgia: WooHoo! The  weekend is here!

That means mum time and that means

lots of scritches! I love scritches.

Julie: I love when mum is home as I like to follow

her everywhere.I love when she gives me some

belly rubs. I just love bellyrubs!

Do any of you LOVE belly rubs?

We  are looking forward to this weekend as it will 

be sunny and not too cold. In fact, it will be pretty

nice as the snow is going very fast!

Finally Friday Close Ups

Georgia: Well it is Friday once again and we are happy.

Mum is most happy  as it means she is with us

all weekend.

Our weather is turning better too.

After the storm on Monday, it was cold all week.

Now, the temps are starting to rise to the point we

 will see rain on Monday!

Mum will be glad to see the end of wind chill factors!

Here are some pictures from the storm on Monday.

The birds were fighting to get into the feeder.

This guy succeeded!

These ducks were digging in the snow for seeds 

mum put out earlier and finding them too!

We will be turning our clocks ahead this weekend.

That means that there will be more light at the 

end of the day.Mum wishes they would leave it 

this way and not change ie in the Fall!

Friday Thoughts with Georgia

Georgia: Hi friends.It's Friday and that means 

mum's staycation is over. Darn!

We have enjoyed this week and we had lots

of snuggles and FUN !

The good news is that mum still has some

vacation days left!

This week has been crazy  in the weather department.

We had sun,rain and snow and it was warm and really cold.

The cold weather was Thursday and today.

The rest of the weekend looks to be warmer.

WooHoo!

 On the cool days, JJ and Julie did not go on the porch.

They sat on the windowsill and looked onto

the porch and outside.

Julie was looking for live squirrels.

The one above her is just a figurine. MOL!

If any squirrels or mice get into the porch, 

they better watch out! Julie is quite a mouser.

(Mum has had to rescue some that Julie brought 

into the house.Sometimes the mouse is not so lucky.

Mum is happy that Julie never tries to eat them.)

when we cats are on the porch)

JJ also enjoyed looking out the windows.

This week mum took him to the Vet for his

semi-annual check-up. They stole some of his blood.

They do a Senior wellness check.

Mum has not caught up with the Vet yet to see 

how he is doing.They are watching his thyroid and kidneys.

JJ also had a few matts that mum could not remove.

One was right under his chin.

The  Vet staff removed them so now he feels better

but his coat is a bit uneven. JJ does not mind though.

He is just glad mum is not picking at his furs anymore.

For a kitty that is 21 years old, he is still pretty active.

He also has a really good appetite.

The Vet said he can eat as much as he wants!

While mum goes back to work Monday, we will

enjoy our weekend and have FUN!

Georgia Says-Happy Friday!

Georgia: Well friends, we had a very strange weather week.

Monday was very cold. Mum almost wished she had

gloves for her commute to work!

Tuesday was warmer and Wednesday was  tropical!

Mum did not wear a coat, but took a raincoat with her.

We had heavy rain Wednesday and Thursday,

nut it stopped Thursday when mum was coming

home.

Today is a bit showery, but the sun will be out when

mum comes home.

Then it will be the weekend  and the sun will be back!!

We are looking forward to that.

JJ is looking forward to those warm rays on his furs!

Julie is looking forward to more stretching in the sun.

She will be a happy kitty again.

Georgia: The week is finally winding down and I know

mum is happy about that.She said it felt like a long week

but I know she only worked 5 days as usual.

Silly humans!

Anyway, as we get this weekend started, we will 

stary with some close ups of us and some of our

JJ: Weekends are great as we get to go on the porch

almost any time of the day. That's because mum is home.

I think I will head out now.

The nice thing about Summer is that the porch is warm.

I like that and I look forward to it.

I like it warm too. Heat really makes you feel so

relaxed.

Oh yes, I love the porch! 

Georgia: Yes I know the porch is warm and cozy.

I like that, but I also like this blanket.
