Cats and Critters

Georgia: Gee, another Friday is here!

I am happy because mum will be home for the next 2 days.

JJ: I am happy that because the days are longer mum

can spend more time taking pictures of the critters

that come into our yard. That means she leaves me alone.

 MOL!

Julie: I am happy the weekend is hear as I love to sit in mum's

lap when she reads and she reads a lot.

It also means way more porch time !

Here are some of the critters mum saw.

Some pics are not too good as the windows have

not had their outside cleaning and she had to shoot into

the sun ,especially with the groundhog.

They are very nervous critters and run off id they see mum

in the window. Mr Raccoon...not so much.

Mum has seen only 2 young ones and the mum this 

year. Last year she saw 5 young ones.

JJ: Weekends are great as we get to go on the porch

almost any time of the day. That's because mum is home.

I think I will head out now.

The nice thing about Summer is that the porch is warm.

I like that and I look forward to it.

Julie: Mmmmmmmmmmmmm!

I like it warm too. Heat really makes you feel so

relaxed.

Oh yes, I love the porch! 

Georgia: Yes I know the porch is warm and cozy.

I like that, but I also like this blanket.

It is also comfy and the best part?

It's Julie free!

Early Morning Fun on the Porch

JJ: I just finished my breakfast and now I am on the porch.

I like Sunday because mum is home and she opens the

door for us.

Georgia: That's right JJ. It is early and the sun is shining but the porch

is not hot. Hmmmmmm, mum put something here.

What did mum put there Georgia?

Is that catnip?

JJ, go get your own! This is mine!

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

I really like catnip!

We also like to hang out here and enjoy a good after

breakfast snooze.

Too bad we can only do it on weekends.

However, we can do an after supper snooze

when mum comes home from work.

Julie: I agree Georgia. 

Too bad we cannot have access to the porch all day.

But that's OK.

Finally Friday

Georgia: Well, it is finally Friday and we are happy.

We had mum home for a few days(Mon-Wed) 

and we loved it a lot.

One of the things I loved most was getting lots of brushings!

Here is a tiny amount of my furs.

Does not look like my colours, but it is!

Mum could brush me every day and still get lots and lots

of my furs! I feel so relaxed now.

JJ and Julie enjoyed some sunbeams on the porch.

JJ had  a snooze and Julie hopped up to the windows.

She was so happy that she started rolling around and 

rubbing her face with her paws. 

She does that when she is happy.

That is what I call a blissed out kitty!

Our weekend is supposed to be a lot cooler.

In fact, it will be cold! Temps of -6C  (21F)

with some snowflurries!

It should warm up a little bit by Monday.

We are going to enjoy our weekend with mum .

Sunny Days and Cozy Cats!

Georgia: Our weekend was a bit cool so I enjoyed a lot of sleeping 

time on this nice cozy blanket.

Treasure: I tried out snoozing on the cat tree.

It was pretty nice until mum came along!

JJ: Sunday was sunny so I was on the porch. It felt nice and

I enjoyed the heat.

I was joined by my little sister Julie.

However, I wanted her spot.

I always like to sleep  in that spot. 

She did not mind changing spots.

She is a good sister.

She enjoyed being on the porch too,

Finally Friday!

Georgia: It's finally Friday and I am looking forward to 

lots of mum time.

I am also looking forward to snoozing on the porch!

JJ: I totally agree with Georgia.

The porch is the best place for naps.

It's just off the kitchen.

Julie: Oh you just know I'l be on the porch!

The views,the sun ,the time with mum!

I'm so happy!

Treasure: I'm not sure where I will spend the weekend.

Maybe just trying to avoid that flashy box!

Georgia: We are happy today is Friday.

Mum will be around more and we like that

JJ: We also like the fact that it will be sunny and warm.

That makes for pawsome sleeping!

Julie: You know I love my porch as much

 as I love being close to  mum.

Treasure: I like all the scritches mum gives me.

I love attention and I get lots.
