Winnie:  Well, I finally got mum to help me post.
I had to remind her that  I need to  keep up this

OK! So I do have some fun moments,

                                                          Winnie: Finally I get to blog again.

We have been having fun especially now that the days

are getting longer and warmer!

I am looking forward to more days outside as

it is getting warmer.

Mostly, I just like having fun and I get to do that alot!

Mum has been lazy about helping me blog.

She says she is doing other things.

I told her that this was important to me 

and that if she did not help me on a regular basis,

her tiny brain would forget how to do things.

How are you doing friends?

I am doing well and loving this place.

As you can see I have a nice comfy bed to lay on

and I share it with mum. Or should I say

mum gets to share it with ME! MOL!!!

Mum is getting pretty lazy about posting so I have

to remind her.

I am enjoying my life here and get along with

my two furry housemates OK. There is no hissing

or anything... we just coexist well. 

I am happy to have my own home and not

living in the shelter anymore!

wat more fun than the shelter.

                                                                    It has been fun with mum.

She is getting more used to the laptop, but her

senior brain does not wish to help her getting 

things done smoothly. MOL!

We are having FUN and I am really liking my

new home.

                                        Now all I need to do is get her to post more often.

                                                         That's something we both want.

Winnie:  Hi friends. Life is interesting with mum,

I was never involved with blogging before I came here,

I am getting used to this process and so is mum in a way.

She is more familiar with a desktop computer than

a laptop.
I think she is forgetting how to take a picture!
I mean, really ?

                                     Oh well, it is not a bad shot because I am in it! MOL!

                                      Mum is catching on so I will likely be seeing more of you

                                      and you will see more of me!
                                      Also, I am hearing the word Vet lately. Seems I have some

                                      balding spots on my hips and she wants to have that checked out.

                                        Hmmmmmm!!

Enjoying life with Winnie

Winnie: Gee whiz!! It has been hard to get mum

to help me blog!
I can understand that she has been captivated

by my good looks and charm...MOL!

However, I want to get acquainted with all of you 

pawsome new friends!

Mum is not as used to the laptop as she is with a desktop,

so it is taking a while to figure things out.

She is scatterbrained( that is a safer word than old)

Anyway, she finally succeeded and here I am.

Life is still good here and I am quite happy.

I really am a lucky cat. I like it here and am getting 

used to the other cats,though that is going more slowly.

I told mum that if she posts more often, she will

not forget  how to do things as often ;) MOL!!!!

My housemates

Winnie:  Hi friends. I am getting more settled 

in my new home. I like Mum a lot.

I like Auntie and Uncle too.
I am having lots of fun here.

I am a lucky cat and I have built in friends.

 Summer is a pretty nice cat.

Mum says her furs are very soft.
We get on OK but are not besties yet.

  

This is BC. She is black like me, though she has more 

white furs  as you can see on her neck and tummy.

She likes to play and chase strings.

                                          We are not big friends yet, but slowly getting there.
                                          When we do become friends, it will be pretty lively

                                           around here! We all like to play and run around.

                                          I have been exploring this place and it is pretty nice.

                                          There is lots of room to run around! There are even stairs 

                                           here. Exploring will be such fun and this place is way

                                            more fun than the SPCA shelter.

                                           Mum says Christmas is just days away, but I already have

                                           my present... a great new home and a Mum that loves me!!!

                                           As it will be busy over the next few days, I will wish you all

                                            MERRY CHRISTMAS and  HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

                                                   Hi, Winnie here. It is taking me a while

                                                    to  get the hang of this blogging thing.

                                                    I is even harder to get mum to help.

                                                    I am loving my new home. I have so much more room

                                                    than I did at the shelter.  I am in a room with Mum.

                                                    I still have not met the other cats , but I hear them.

                                                   I am getting used to the sounds.                                                                

                                                        

                                                     Mum says I will get to meet the cats soon.

                                                      She wanted to make sure I was comfy in

                                                      this place and  I am. Compared to a cage this 

                                                      place is awesome! I even get this huge bed to sleep

                                                      on too! I know I am going to love it here and I am

Hello from Edwina

Hi there. My name is Edwina.

I tend to get called Winnie.

Mum adopted me from the SPCA.

Mum says I  was born September 30,2018.

That makes me 5 years old.

                                                   I am really happy to have my own home now!
                                                   I have my own room that I share with mum,

                                                   It is SO nice to be here and I really like mum.

                                                   There are two other cats here, but we have not met yet.

                                                    That may take a while as I need to get comfy here.

                                                    I am pretty sure I am going ti like this place and I already

                                                    like MUM!

                                                    Mum and I are ready to start our new life chapters together.

                                                    This will be SO exciting!

Julie: This weekend, I had a good time hanging out

with mum. Here we are enjoying the day on

the porch.

Here I am in the living room.

This is where I get lots of brushings.

I like to nap here too, sometimes.

I am hanging out on the bed.

I think mum wants to make the bed, but she

will have to wait until I am ready to move.

Everything is done at the  convenience of the cat. 

MOL!!!!

Julie: I like being on the porch.
Sometimes I go outside  and mum watches me.

Often, I just like to sit and look out the open door.

I can get scritches as well which is so nice!

I also like sitting on the bed.

                                                     I am waiting for mum to join me.

We might watch the TV, read or Mum can give

me belly rubs. I love those!

 

No matter what we do. it will be fun as long as we are together!

Enjoying sunshine and life!

Julie: It was nice and sunny so I got to spend some time 

outside.

I enjoyed my time outside for a while.

When it got dark, mum and I worked

on the blog. I dictated from a cozy spot.

Mum has this neat cross stitch picture.

She thinks it would be cool to have 5 black cats.

I say that I am all she needs!

                                                   

Mum agrees, but still thinks it would be cool.

Julie says life is good.

 

Julie: Yesterday was a pretty quiet day.
Mum was on the porch reading and she opened

the door for me. It was nice to look out and smell that 

nice fresh air.

That fresh air does things to a cat!

It tends to make a cat feel sleepy. 

I did not fight that feeling!

I had a good snooze and mum had a good read.
Life is pretty good.

Just Relaxing on the Porch

 

Julie: Sunday was sunny in the afternoon

so I enjoyed some time on the porch.

Mum joined me for a while and took these pics.

I went out on the ramp for a bit, but mostly

I enjoyed sitting on the sofa. Mum kept the door open 

so I could see what  was happening outside.

It is nice to just sit and watch the world.

Life is good.

Lazy weekend with Mum.

Julie: I like sitting on Mum.

She is comfy and soft. MOL!

She is also nice and warm.

Even though we have a furnace that blows

nice warm air, I still like snuggling with mum!

I also get some really nice scritches too.

I also like the bed. It is cozy, comfy and there is lots

of room to stretch out!

                                                           The week does not look too bad.

                                             There will be dome flurries, but no accumulation.

                                                       The daytime temps will be above 0C (32F)

       and no storms in the forecast.

Just some sun and cloudy days!

Just 14 days until Spring!

Julie Thoughts

Julie: Well, it's a new year. All the festivities are over

and we are into a new year.

As a cat, none of that matters to me.

All I know is that mum is with me all the time,

I get my food and lots of scritches 

and belly rubs.

I am a happy cat. Mum is pretty happy too as she is

lucky to be spending all her days (and nights)

with me!

 I think that is a win-win  for both of us!
