SPIDER !!!!!

Well, Spring is definitely here because the

BIG spiders are back!!!!!

Mom is not too happy about that because

they scare her ,as they move so fast!!

I think they might be fun to play with,but Mom 

does NOT want them in the house!

Darn!

Mom was on the deck and saw this fellow on the screen.

She came indoors and tried to get it off the screen.

All it did was jump onto the window casing.

Since it would not go away,Mom decided to take pictures of it.

She was thankful for having a telephoto lens on her camera.

Did I mention Mom is scared of spiders??

 She had her finger next to it but she would have

 run from the room if it moved, hahaha

There is actually space between the screen and the spider.

This spider is known as a Fishing or Wharf spider.

The females can get quite large,about 3 inches.

Mom hopes it will go away soon, but it has been rainy

and the spider is content to stay dry.

Mom just hopes it is content to stay outside!!!!!

Mom is going to see her Mom this weekend, so we may 

not get to visit much, but we will try.

Random Friday Thoughts

Happy Friday the 13th !!!!!!!!

Tillie here with a few random thoughts.

First, I am waiting for Mom to give me a belly rub.

This is Treasure. He is the only one here that likes to sleep

this way!! Mom calls it a "face plant" 

I hope he can breathe like that! Heehee

This is a sign of Spring...Spiders!!!

This big spider had his legs close to his body.

Mom took this picture at night and it was cool outside.

This is not one of the Wolf spiders that show up

 and scare Mom,just a BIG spider.

Mom is still glad it's outside!!!!!!

Friday Close Ups

Yesterday and today ave been colder

than normal! Brrrrrrrrr!

Mom says that more seasonal temps

will come this weekend.Sunshine too !

It will be a long weekend for Mom.

Here in Canada, we will be celebrating

Thanksgiving!!

Mom will also be celebrating some birthdays.

Her nephew(Oct 11)  and her Mom(Oct 13)

There will be a get together Saturday.

We hope we get some goodies,heehee

One day after some rain,Mom saw these

decorated webs. Mr Spider is home.

Mr Spider got scared away.

Guess he does not like the flashy box either!

Hahaha!!!!!

Mancat Monday

I had a nice weekend. A lot of it was spent here,relaxing.
It was rainy on Saturday and Mom & her sister went shopping.
In the morning,before the rain, Mom put greenery on the front deck,
so she could put up the outside lights.

Here is the greenery in the rain.

I was a bit sad that is was not grass!!

Sunday it snowed!!!!!!!!!
In the afternoon it mostly stopped ,
so Mom put the lights oh the greenery.

It was cold!

She should have done this on Saturday,heeheehee

This spider was moving very slowly.

Bet he thought id was cold too !!

Hanging by a thread on the window overlooking the back yard.

We had a visit from 5 mourning doves!!!!!!!!!
Here are two. One on the stump, and one in the feeder.

These three were getting seeds Mom puts on the ground.
Even in the snow, they just sat there for a long time.
Guess the squirrels were sleeping!! heehee

Sleeping. That is what I plan on doing today!
I did way too much snoopervising this weekend.
