Friday Long Weekend!!!!

Georgia: Happy Friday friends!

We had a pretty good week and now we look forward

to a pawsome weekend!

Why?

Because it is our Thanksgiving weekend!!!!!!!!

 JJ: That's right Georgia. Thanksgiving is here and that means

mum will be home an extra day!

That means  mote scritches and treats!!

Julie: I would like some treats now please!

I also would like belly rubs.

It is such FUN when mum is home for extra days.

This weekend will be FUN!!!!!!

One of the nice thing about holidays is that you 

can sleep in.

Cats are lucky  as we can sleep anytime.

We are doing that as mum is going off to 

spend Thanksgiving with family.

We hope she brings back some goodies!

Georgia: Often, I mention that Julie and I do not

always get along very well. That is true!

She can be a little bit  of a bully, but not one

that hurts me. She is just  pushy when it comes

 to mum's attention. She would love to be top cat.

However, here is proof that we all can get along.

We  are all enjoying the sun on the porch couch.

We do have good times,often when it is sleepy time.

We are all looking at mum with much anticipation.

That is because this weekend is our 

Thanksgiving weekend in Canada!

That means an extra mum day!!

Maybe there will be some tasty goodies for us too!

We are also expecting more sunshine and nice temperatures.

That means more porch time!!

Georgia: Wha ta great weekend we have been having.

An extra mum day,porch time and warm temperatures!

As you can see, I'm headed to the porch.

I love sunbeams!
They are warm and feel so good!

JJ and Julie love the sunbeams too .

It makes them sleepy.

Our October has been warmer than usual and mum

was surprised to see this daylily still in bloom!

Finally Friday Thanksgiving Weekend!

  We are looking forward to this weekend.

#1 it's the weekend!
#2 it's Thanksgiving  in Canada!

That means an extra day with mum!!

We also hope it means we get a bit of turkey or

something equally

Mum will be visiting with family, but she might

 bring some  tasty goodies home.

Treats!!

Julie: After supper, mum will give us some treats.

We look forward to that part of the day!

However, she tends to get busy with other stuff and it

is up to me to remind her!

I am very good at my job too!

Enough posing mum...treats! Now!

Finally! Nom,nom,nom...

My brofur JJ also likes treats.

Mum added some to his kibble.

He did not mind as he did not finish all his kibble  at

supper.No, I actually did not finish the kibble for him!

This time, he ate the treats and the few remaining bits of kibble.

Georgia has mum very well trained.

She does not have to move a paw as mum brings her

treats to her! Can you believe that?

She loves her treats.

Treasure also loves treats even though he is toothless.

He also likes some kibble.

We are also very excited this Friday.

Mum will be home for 3 days!

That's because it is Thanksgiving weekend here

in Canada!

WooHoo!

We purr you all have a FUN weekend whatever is going on

We also purr  that any of our friends in the path of

hurricane Matthew will be safe

 as this is a very big and nasty hurricane !

Georgia: We are happy again that it is the weekend. 

We are even more happy Mom is taking a few days

off next week. Mom's sister is visiting from Ottawa,

and it is Thanksgiving on Monday  here in Canada.

Mom  is looking forward to some time off and was lazy

about picture taking.

Really...it's OK  Mom!

Georgia:  Today is Thanksgiving here in Canada.

It is a lovely sunny day too.Mmmmmmmmmmmm!

It smells delicious ! Or maybe that is Mom cooking

yummy foods.

JJ is really enjoying the warm sunshine.

Treasure is enjoying the sun  as well.

He is probably waiting for some treats too or

some scritches since Mom is home.

Thanksgiving Weekend !

Georgia :  We are excited because it is a long weekend.

That means more Mom time. Oh boy!

Treasure: Mom will be doing the Thanksgiving thing with

family on Saturday, so she will be gone for a while.

Hope she brings back some goodies!

Saturday may rain a bit, but Sunday and Monday  should

be sunny. That will allow JJ and Julie to enjoy more snoozes

on the porch !

Georgia: Guess what? We have Mom  for a 3 day weekend!

Know why? Because today is Thanksgiving

here in Canada!!!!!!!!

That is so neat! We got to spend lots of time on the porch.

JJ enjoyed that a lot!

Julie  baked in the sun.

 Treasure relaxed keeping Mom in view.

Tillie and Tiger were soaking up the sun as well.

Tillie's arm is doing quite nicely too .

Mom and other family members got together on Sunday 

to celebrate Thanksgiving, the nice Fall colours and 

another very special event!

This is our Grammie.(Mom's mom)

She was outside for family pictures.

Sunday October 13 was Grammie's birthday!!

They all helped  her celebrate !!

We did not mind Mom being gone for most of the day,

because beans do not turn 89 every day!
