Julie's Vet Visit

Julie: Mum kidnapped me!

She put me in the PTU and we went to the Vet!

I was not too happy.

However, after the exam, the Vet said she

was happy  that I was doing well!

She said my teeth looked really good!

While I did not like her taking my blood and pee

I am glad it made her and mum happy.

The Vet will call mum with the results of

the pee sample and blood sample.

 The best part, we were not there too long 

and I came back home and had a good

supper.

Whew! I am glad that is over with!!

Now I can enjoy the weekend .

That will be FUN!!!!

Finally Friday Close Ups!

Georgia: WE are ready to get this weekend started!

It was a busy week for mum and there was a 

little crisis with Julie.

Fortunately, all is well and we can look

forward to a nice relaxing weekend!

WE thought we would do our close ups since

mum was pretty lazy about taking pictures ;)

Here is mine.

JJ being sidelit with the sun.

Julie is still a bit miffed at mum for taking her to the Vet.

But then, she is not a fan of posing for the camera

at the best of times.

The Groundhog dropped by to snack on some weeds.

Mum says he/she is very nervous and runs at the

slightest sound.

Julie at the Vet screaming to go home!

She was quite wobbly at breakfast and  fell when

trying to jump up on a cabinet.Then she ran away 

and went under the bed.Mum took her to the Vet.

While nothing big presented itself, her

white blood cell count was low,indicating  there 

may be infection or injury and her temp was up.

They gave her some fluids and Convenia.

Thursday she was feeling much better but not 100% yet.

She will get lots of cuddles this weekend .

WE think we all will!

Let's Get This Weekend Started !

Julie: Last night, I was not happy!

Mum came home and picked me up and then...THEN

she put me in the PTU!!!!!!

PTU= Personal Transporting (Torture) Unit

Then she took me to the Vet!

I want to go home NOW!!!!!!!!!

Well! That didn't work.

I suffered through my checkup and it was not that bad.

They did steal some of my bloods though!

Mum said they want some pee too. Sheesh!

I am happy to  be home and looking forward to doing lots of this

all weekend.

We are all excited too because it is a long weekend.

Yup,Labour Day Weekend!

That means an extra mum day.

We purr you all enjoy your weekend too.

Georgia Says-Lots Going on at Our Vet's Place

Georgia: Saturday morning mum came and got me  pretty 

early. She said I had to go to the Vet for 9AM.

It was my semi-annual visit.

While I am not crazy about going there, I was pretty relaxed.

The Vet Tech were impressed that I was so calm too.

I got lots of attention,especially from the one in training..

The Vet was pretty happy with me  and said I looked great.

She stole some blood to do a wellness test.

Mum should hear by Monday how I did.

At  lunchtime, mum went back to the Vet alone.

They were having their annual "Open House"

They have raffle baskets and tours of the facility.

They also had a BBQ.

Mum took a picture of the staff. 

My Vet is in the front with the long pants and behind he is her hubby.

He did the BBQ.

The girl in the colourful top is the Tech on  training

experience. She was nice to me.

This is the truck the Vet uses for making house calls

to horses and some other farm  critters.

Those tools look pretty scary! I am glad  that the Vet 

does not use these tools on me.

Those rasps are way to big for my mouth.

They would fit in Vidock's mouth though !

As usual, Julie got lots of porch time.

Georgia at the Vet for Annual Visit

Georgia: Yesterday, I went to the Vet for my check up.

I was a bit nervous, but mum helped me relax.

I am not crazy about the Vet, but she was nice to me

so I did not mind too much.

She did steal some blood and some of my pee!

She said it was for some tests.

I hope I pass the tests.

Then they trimmed my claws.

Now that that is over with, I can be happy that the

weekend is here.

That means mum will be home!

I wish all of you a FUN weekend too!!

Finally Friday After Vet Visit

Georgia: I am happy it is Friday as I like having mum

around to give me treats and scritches for two days!

JJ: I like Fridays for the same reasons as Georgia plus

I like being on the porch. It is one of my favourite places to sleep.

Plus, it is just off the kitchen. Heehee

Julie: I love my porch!

Mum dragged me to the Vet for a check on my mouth.

I had 2 teeth out and my mouth healed just fine.

I'm purrfect, but I could have told her(Vet) that!

Treasure: I went to the Vet too!

It was my semi annual visit and the Vet stole my blood!

She called mum a bit later to say my kidneys are doing well.

So well that there was some improvement in one of the kidneys!

Not bad for this 19 year old boy!

She also said I had a bit of a UTI so mum dragged me back

for a needle! Can you believe that?!

Mum said she is happy I don't need pills as I am not at all

co-operative in that department. Heh,heh,heh.

In any event, I am home,happy and ready for  mum

to make up to me by spoiling me all weekend!
