Finally Friday...the 13th Again!

Georgia: Hey Treasure , what's going on?

Treasure: Not too much Georgia.

I can't make up my mind about what I want to do.

Georgia: Me neither.

Maybe I'll go over here.

Georgia and Treasure: Hmmmmm, what to do.

Gee, Mom says we will get another snowstorm Saturday night

and continuing  all day Sunday!

That means no sun!

I am also not happy about the snowstorm.

Maybe this is happening because it is Friday the 13th again!

We had Friday the 13th last month too.

I am wondering if somecat,that is black,

has anything to do with this!

Julie: Who? Me?

Heh,heh,heh!

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: I think I will get in this box and enjoy a sunny nap.

Just takes a moment to get situated and comfy.

OK, this will do nicely.

Our porch was sunny and warm Sunday. Outside it was cool,

but the sun was strong enough to melt some snow.

Mom liked that and hopes the sun will melt

the ice around the walkways. It is pretty thick and 

not easy to shovel. This week we should have some warmer days

and some sunshine.

JJ enjoyed the porch, even if you cannot see the sun

on his furs.

Treasure enjoyed the porch too and got out when the sun 

was shining in the porch.

We all like to be warm.

Julie likes to be warm too.

Finally Friday

Georgia: We cannot believe it! We are going to have another

sunny weekend and the temps will not be very cold.

Mom says they will be around -2 C.

That's 28 F for our American friends.

Compared to what it has been this Winter, -2 is great!

That means porch time!!

 JJ: Mom,hurry I want on the porch!

I have sunbathing to do!

Julie: I agree JJ. Sunbathing and sun snoozing are fun

I'm going to do lots, when I am not following Mom around.

Treasure: I am enjoying sunbeams and I am happy.

I had my final checkup with the Vet.

I only have one suture that is not completely dissolved.

Other than that, my mouth looks and feels good.

I am ready to eat lots and lots!

We purr all our friends have a FUN and happy weekend !

Georgia-Thoughts About Our Past Weekend

Georgia: This past weekend was nice and sunny.

The sun warmed up the porch, so we got to spend a lot

of time out there.

It was fun to watch Squirrel TV.

It was even better to sleep in the sunshine!

Treasure and JJ enjoyed the sun too.

Everycat loves snoozing in the sun!

Mom took these pictures to show you the layer of ice on top

of the snow. It is very shiny and slippery.

The squirrels did not seem to mind the slippery snow.

There were seeds to eat and fun to be had!

Julie enjoyed Squirrel TV too.

Dr Seuss Day with Georgia and JJ

Georgia: Today is Dr Seuss Day.

This little fellow is the Cat in the Hat.

He wants to share my chair.

I am going to have a nap. I hope he does not snore!

He is kinda cute.

JJ: Who are you.You look like a cat, bot you do not 

smell like one.

What should I think of that?

He smells different, that I know.

I guess he is harmless though!

Finally Sunny Friday!

Georgia: Well, it's finally Friday and it's sunny!

We are so happy about that as we can get on the porch and enjoy it.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Those sunbeams feel so good.

We can enjoy them all weekend too!

Treasure: Oh yes Georgia, a sunny weekend sounds fun.

I have my snoozy spot picked out.

Julie: I am also happy for sunshine. I will go on the porch soon.

I just want to say I am tired of snow and cloudy days.

Cloudy days and snow deserve a big raspberry.

Sunshine is so much nicer.

Treasure: Yes, sunshine is the best.

I love it a lot.

I am also feeling very well and eating well.

All that nice gushy food.

I don't miss my teeth at all!

We purr that you all have a really FUN weekend

whether it is sunny or not.

WE hope it is sunny though!

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: Hi friends. How was your weekend?

Did you have good weather or stormy?

Did you have snow and rain? We did!

JJ: That's right Georgia. It rained yesterday and the snow got

all wet.Mom was out moving the snow before it can freeze.

It will do that Tuesday as it will be a cold day.

At least I have some good TV to watch!

Bird TV is on and I am watching the Duck show !

Mom says those ducks are like Hoovers sucking up the seeds!

They did not mind the rain.

This deck is off our porch at the front of the house.

You can see that it is wet. It is clean too, because Mom moved

the snow.

 Treasure: Hi everyone. I want you to know I am feeling well

and I have a good appetite after the operation to remove

my teeth. I have been enjoying all the stinky goodness Mom is

giving to me. I want to say Thank You as well for all

your purrs and good wishes!

So, what is Julie up to?

She said something about the state of Mom's shovel.

Treasure- My Ordeal is Over!

Treasure:

Lick,lick,lick !

Oooooo! Gotta  get this Vet stink off my furs!

Mom took me to the Vet yesterday.

She had taken me on January 29 and the Vet stole half

of my teeth! Yesterday, they took the rest!

My mouth is a bit sore, but Mom gives me medicine.

At least it will not hurt any more because of my bad teeth.

I am glad to be home.

I still have to keep an eye on Mom.

I wouldn't want her to take me back to that vet place again.

However, if she wants to give me more stinky goodness,

well all I can say is bring it on!

Note: Treasure had really bad teeth and they needed to come out.

This was done in 2 sessions. For an older cat, 17 years, he

did very well.After resting most of the day at the Vet's,

he was pretty hungry when he got home. He seems to feel

 pretty good and  happy to be home again.

He handled the surgery very well!

An Extra Mom Day with Georgia

Georgia:  We had a really mixed up weekend. 

It was sunny on Saturday,  a snowstorm on Sunday

and a cold Monday. The good thing is that we have

Mom home today for Heritage Day.

She is also here for scritches  and spoiling we kitties.

OK Mom, just because you have the day off does not

mean you can bother me with that camera!

Yesterday , we has snow,blowing snow,rain and a flash freeze.

Mom did manage to get out and feed the birds.

These ducks were very happy.

Snowstorms mean lots of snow.

There was a big pile at the end of the driveway.

Mom moved a lot, then a neighbour came along on his ATV

and pushes some snow away. His spinning tires helped break up 

a lot of the chunks created by a plow .

Mom took her time and got it all cleared.

The only problem is that the temperatures went down,

so the driveway is now pretty icy.

The city is too as all the rain we had did not have

anyplace to go. There was a lot of flooding in town!

Fortunately, we do not have flooding,just freezing.
