Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: JJ and I are looking through the window at

the porch. Mom says it is cold out there.

JJ figures he may as well go find a cozy  spot as there is no sunshine.

I am going to the kitchen.

Hmmmm, I need to check Mom's coffee cup.

Dang, nothing in there.

 .

Oh well, I will go look out the window.

Humph, Mom was right. It does look cold outside.

There is ice on the trees!

Look at this branch!

This little bush is all ice covered too.

The trees around the driveway are ice covered.

While it looks pretty, it causes problems. Many people

have lost power because of all the ice. So far we have not

lost power. Maybe I will join JJ and find a snoozy spot too.

Finally Friday

Georgia: We are glad it is Friday. Mom will be home,

mostly, and there will not be any storms !

Maybe some rain on Sunday.

Julie and JJ are looking for some relaxing time and cuddles 

with Mom. Treays would be welcome too. Heehee!

Treasure: Treats? Cuddles? Yes please!!

Snow Day !

Julie: Guess what ? Mom is home today. Know why?

Because we are having a blizzard!

That means it is very windy, you cannot see very far and

it lasts more than 4 hours!

You can see behind me all that white stuff.

Mom took this picture at 8:30 this morning.

Just a little bit of snow.

Mom took this video about lunchtime. 

You can see the wind  really gusting as it blows

off the roof.

Even with all the wind and snow, the birds still come to

get the seeds !

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: Mmmmmmm, wiffies! How delicious.

We had sun all weekend and it was nice.

The air was fresh and I just had to check it out.

Nice Spring smells.

Oh I am looking forward to the warmer weather so much.

Mom says enjoy it while it lasts.

I don't like the sound of that.

JJ enjoyed the sun in the kitchen.

Then he enjoyed the sun on the porch with Treasure.

Saturday night, we had snow!

Mom says this was just a dusting.

She says we will be getting LOTS of snow on Wednesday!

I thought this was Spring. Sheesh !

Julie had fun on the porch too.

Finally Friday !

Georgia:  Yesterday was the first day of Spring.

You would not know that as it was cold,windy and rainy!

We could not get on the porch!

The ducks came for seeds and did not seem to mind the rain.

Guess they are used to the outdoors.

Today is a bit better, but still windy! Mom said we might

get more rain and flurries in the afternoon.

Darn !

I was hoping to get more wiffies.

JJ found a brief sunspot and is purring for the sunbeam

to come back!

Julie hopes to get on the porch too.

She loves to hang around with Mom, so as soon

as she gets home Julie will be stuck closely to her.

She will not care about the porch then !

Treasure also likes to be close to Mom.

He is not crazy about the porch unless it is hot!

He is happy to stay in the house where he is warm.

Though the porch is enclosed, it is not heated.

Spring is here in name only.

It is still cold and we are still expecting to get some snow

on Saturday and maybe Wednesday!

Maybe we need to talk to Mother Nature about this.

For now, have a fun weekend and stay cozy !!

Georgia: Mom, I don't like the flash!

So I am not going to look at you.

Julie: Like Georgia, I do not like the flash either.

Change your settings or go away Mom !

I will not look at you either!

JJ: I'm having a little bath,getting ready for the weekend !

Treasure: I'm looking out the window,keeping tabs 

on what is happening in the back yard.

We are all getting ready for the weekend.

It starts when Mom gets home. Woot!

Georgia: We had sunshine this weekend and it was not 

freezing  outside! It was cool, but not freezing!

It was so nice, I went into the kitchen to enjoy the sunbeams.

JJ was on the porch and he loved the sunshine.

I think he might have a nap there.

Treasure had to check out the porch too and liked it.

He is a nervous kitty and spooks easily at strange sounds.

When I was in the kitchen, I saw my little sister Julie.

She was on the counter.

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: Hi friends. I am trying to decide what to do.

It is fun when Mom is home,  not so much when she is

at work.

I like to sit on the arm of the chairs. When Mom is sitting 

there  she gives me lots of scritches. I love that!

I'm ready for those scritches! Anyone want to give me some ?

Saturday we had some sunshine and JJ was soaking

up the rays in the kitchen.

Every once in a while, he would look outside to see what was

going on.

Treasure is enjoying a good snooze. 

He looks quite cozy.

We all may join him for a snooze until Mom comes home.

Unless Squirrel TV is good today !
