Finally Friday in Profile

Today is Friday and that means weekend and

more Mom time!

We love weekends!

We are doing a Friday close up in profile

because all cats look just as good from the side.

We thought we would include a pic of our furcousin Mike.

He was mighty hard to photograph as he is a cat in motion,

but mom did get one!

Georgia: Hi friends, how are you today?

I am really happy because Mom is home.

It is a holiday called Labour Day.

I love having Mom home. 

She brushes me and gives me great scritches.

I bet I can even score a few treats!

It has been quite warm for September.

JJ loves the heat and has been spending lots of time

on the porch. Mostly in snooze mode.

Treasure has been enjoying the extra Mom time too.

He also likes to follow Mom around.

We wish all our friends a 

Julie also is happy Mom is home today.

She also loves the sun on her panther furs.

Finally Friday

 Georgia: I am enjoying some time on the porch.

 However, I may appear nervous, but I am not.

Well only a tiny bit. What am I looking at?

Julie!

I must admit that she and I do get along better than we did.

She does not chase or whap me like she did when she

first came here. Tillie often protected me. That is

probably why Tillie and Julie never got along.

Julie and I are not best friends, but we co- exist. 

JJ: Yup, I agree. There is not as much drama here anymore!

 Treasure: The drama is not so much, but I  sometimes

swat a kitty when I want attention and they

are too close to Mom. Mom says I am determined to be  #1

kitty. She tells me not to worry because she loves me and 

there is plenty of love for all of us kitties.

I am the nervous type and  need lots of reassurance.

I am getting better . I do sleep with the other kitties, 

but I like to be closest to Mom.

Here are some things Mom saw in the yard.

 Two Grackles and a Blue Jay.

A big bug with a long body.

Earl the Squirrel.

Not often that you see him still!

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: We had the hots this weekend.

The hots tend to make us sleepy, so I had a little nap

on the living room rug.

This was early morning sunshine so it was not too hot yet. 

Later on,when it got warmer, JJ had s snooze on the

porch.He had a nice long snooze too!

Treasure  spent some time looking at Squirrel TV before going 

off for a snooze.

Julie was watching Squirrel TV too.

Then she went inside with Mom.

Julie wanted to see what Mom had in this bag.

Mom won a raffle that the Vet had at their Open House 

last Saturday.

Monday Musings with Georgia

 

 

Hi friends.I am enjoying yet another sunny day.

I have some toys so I am all set for a while.

While the days are warm, the nights are cool and Mom

likes that as she says that she can sleep better.Gee, I never

 knew sleeping was hard for humans! Itis not a

problem for us kitties.

 

 JJ was also enjoying the morning sun and Mom took this

 picture. It's cool because it has highlights and shadows.

 

Treasure was watching from on top of a table.

He was not in the sunbeams,but he did not mind.

He got some sun later,on the porch.

 

 

 Tiger likes to sleep on the porch and get lots of sun.

It probably feels good on her old body. She is 16 and

has arthritis and asthma.

 

Julie likes the sun too.She also loves to be where Mom is and that

 drives Tillie nuts! Hahahahaha!

She is getting used to us, but still does not get too close.

 There is progress however.

Wordless Wednesday...Mostly

We are having an "official" heat wave.
That is when we have sustained high temps for 5 days.
We are in day 7!!! It was 90F (32C) & sticky today!!!!!!
We hardly ever get temps that high!
Mom says it might end this weekend.
She also said we might get a visit from Hurricane Bill.
Well!!! It must be time for a long nap!!!!

Three Cheers & Close Ups

Today we are honouring a mighty fine bean.
It is Gandalf & Grayson's Mom Barb!!
She took in a stray kitty,Whitey, that was hurt and fixed him up!
Now, he is recovering and rewarding her with purrs.
We are rewarding Barb with purrs too... and CHEERS!!
