Monday with Julie and JJ

Julie: Well, we made it through the better part of 

Christmas without snow. In fact it was even warm.

Sunday though was another matter.

It snowed!

Earl did not mind because Mom put out some seeds.

He was happily eating them too.

We got a really cool present for Christmas!

We got it from our furcousins at Team Tabby!

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, this is neat!

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

Oh hi! Am I on a pillow?

Yes I am and it is most comfy.

I get a really good sleep here !

It was a pretty good weekend too and Mom is

off today as well.That is good too.

Treasure enjoyed some time on the porch.

It was sunny and cold outdoors,

but warm on the porch. 

 JJ enjoyed the porch too.

Here he is showing you that he still has some teeth left.

Mom did go out yesterday to a birthday party.

It was for her nephew, Tall Son. As you can see he likes the

Star Wars card and what was inside!

Julie enjoyed the early morning sun yesterday.

She has a few concerns.

Finally Friday with Guests!

Georgia: The weather is getting colder, but but we  have 

not had any snow yet,  only flurries one day.

We still get out on the porch as it is not too cold.

 JJ: I like being on the porch too.

I can look outside and see what is going on,

or have a snooze.

Julie: I like the porch or anywhere I can keep an eye on Mom.

I always have to know where Mom is.

Treasure: I like this kitchen window.

I do not sit up her very often, but I like it.

Mom and Auntie N and Uncle E went to see an exhibit

at the Nova Scotia Museum of Natural History.

They got to meet Gus, who was out having lunch before 

enjoying a walk around the museum.

Gus is about 90+ years old and is a Gopher Tortoise.

He was raised in Florida and brought to the museum in 1942.

He is eating his lunch of lettuce leaves(he ate 3) and 

half of a banana.

After his walk, he went back to his enclosure and snoozed 

under his heat lamp.

Mom also got to meet a new kitty.

This is Oscar and he belongs to Auntie and Uncle bean's 

son and his girlfriend. 

He is full of energy as he is only 9 weeks old.

He already wants to play with Mom's laces.

We do not mind Mom playing with Oscar because

she did not bring him home.

Monday Musings with Georgia and a Birthday Wish

Georgia: Mom wanted to get a few pictures of me, 

so I agreed to pose.

I do not mind posing, but I wish Mom would pay

closer attention to details.

She cut off my feet! Sheesh!

I figured she could not mess up this pose ,heehee

 JJ was having a bath on the porch.

 It was warm and sunny yesterday.

Do you see this? 

Look at how curly his belly furs are!

Gee! It's gotta be hard to keep all those long hairs

under control.

Mom's sister, Auntiebean, has a birthday today!

Monday Musings with Georgia and Furcousins

Georgia: Mmmm, the porch is nice and warm.

I really like this time of year.

JJ likes the porch too.

In addition to window wiffies, there is lots to see outside.

Treasure thinks the porch is a good place to contemplate.

Know what else happened this week?

Mom went to visit our furcousins Mindy and Moe.

Mom's sister and her DH were away for a few days

and Mom and a neighbour looked after them.

Mindy likes to sit in the window and watch the action

in the backyard.

Guess not much was happening !

Moe agrees. The backyard was quiet for the moment.

He figured Mom should give him a treat.

He did not get one,but he and Mindy got some

stinky goodness with their supper !

They both loved that!

Julie did a photoshoot that did not go as expected.

Goodbye Grammie!

Georgia:

We are all sad. Mom's Mom, our Grammie, passed away

Sunday April 6, 2014 after a short illness.

Grammie was a wonderful lady and she loved cats.

She had 6 amazing children too.

Now, she is with Grampie in Heaven.

We miss you Grammie!

We will be away for a bit as Mom and Auntie N say

goodbye to their Mom.

Finally Friday

Tillie:

 I am watching for Mom.  I know she said Saturday, but I

will keep my eyes on the door. She will be here for the 

weekend and I am excited. I love Mom and I am her

#1 kitty !! Does that make me a Diva?

My furcousins are having a good time with Mom.

They are very relaxed and enjoying some good naps.

Mindy wants Mom to put the camera down and give

her some scritches. Yup, Mom gives pawsome scritches !!!

Cookie is on the couch,just hanging out and enjoying the day.

Mike is in his fave box catching some Zzzz's.

He is in the kitchen,so he can be handy if food appears!

Moe is snoozing in his box in view of the kitchen.

He also will be ready to take advantage of anyone (mom) in 

the kitchen !!! Those boys thing only about food!!!!

Georgia: I know Mom will not be here until tomorrow

so I am going to snooze until she gets here.

Then we will have FUN !!

We hope all of you have tons of fun this weekend too !!!

Oh, and Tillie, you ARE a Diva !!!!

Where is Mom ?

Tillie: Well!!! This new year is not off to the best start

as far as I am concerned! Why, you ask?

BECAUSE MOM IS NOT HERE!!!!!
We have a nice sitter and Mom will be in to see us  fairly often.

She is staying at Team Tabby's place and she is looking after

our furcousins. Why? I'll let my furcousins tell you.

 

 Mindy: Mom and Dad have gone off on a vacation.

They are spending it with Dad's brother and his wife,

who have a place in Florida.

You may recall that they did this last year too !

I do not mind Aunty being here, because she gives me

good scritches and belly rubs.

 Mike is getting used to the idea.

So is Cookie.

 And who is this?

My silly brofur Moe!

 They are all getting used to Aunty being here because they

know they will be fed!! Those boys just think about 

their tummies all the time!!

 It was stormy when Mom and Dad left and their plane 

was delayed for a day. They are happy to leave snow behind!

That is because they will be going on a cruise 

while they are away!!!!! They will be on this ship and going 

to places nice and warm!

Gee, they could have stayed indoors like us and be warm.

Though sometimes they have to go out in the cold to get 

our foods and theirs too.

 

Mindy: Have fun Mom and Dad,but hurry home!

Tillie: Um, Mindy, they will not be home for 6 weeks!
