Just hangin' with Mum

Julie: Mum was away for part of the weekend 

to attend a nephew's wedding

 

It was nice when she got back as I got to go

out and and enjoy a bit of sun.

I also got to relax on the porch with mum.

I like hanging out with mum.

We enjoyed a nice afternoon together.

Purrfect, even if it was a bit muggy!!

Mum says we might see some rain  for

the rest of the week but no major

storms or heavy rains.

That suits us just fine.

Let's Get This Weekend Started!

Georgia:  Part of this week we spent snoozing.

The weather was pretty cold. JJ is a great snuggle buddy.

Then  on Wednesday, the temperatures warmed a bit

and there was snow and that changed to rain!

Thursday was rainy and most of the snow is gone and

only patches of ice here and there remain.

Friday is sunny and the temperatures will slowly fall

by evening.Not too bad at all and mum is happy.

The weekend looks to be sunny.

That will be good as we will have mum home and

maybe she will play with me and toss  my toy around.

This pawsome toy is from the wonderful crochet lady Ellen Pilch!*

Sunny days always mean porchtime and Julie is looking 

forward to  spending time there.

She also loves looking out of the windows.

She can see Earl the Squirrel at the birdfeeder,

and also Earla the Squirrel on the ground.

We are pretty sure it will be a FUN weekend!

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: I like sitting here and looking out of

the window. The nice breezes are pretty good too.

I hang out in the computer room a lot because mum

spends a fair amount of time here.

She also gives me lots of scritches and I love that.

As it is finally getting warmer, JJ likes to hang out

on the porch. He loves the couch out there.

It is a good place to sleep he says.

He is hoping mum is bringing him a snack.

She will bring him his supper if he is still there

at suppertime.

Julie was on the porch too.

She had a small,unhappy episode on 

Saturday, but she is OK.

Finally Friday

Georgia: It is sunny but cold outdoors.

Wednesday, we finally got some serious snow.

We got about 17cm and then some freezing rain.

Thursday was relatively warm and the sun came out for a bit.

The weekend should be warmer...yay!

This floor vent is the best place to be when it is cold.

I feel nice warm air blowing into my furs.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm!

It feels SO good.

JJ: I am sitting here hoping mum is doing treats! 

I love it when she comes and gives me a few.

Usually before bed we get some.

It is a highlight for this old cat.

Age does have it's advantages.

What is that on the porch?

Looks like a Julie butt.

Ha! It is Julie!

As you can see, she is on the porch.

Here she is, a cat in motion!

Ready to get this weekend started!

We are looking to enjoy this weekend with mum 

and having FUN!

Long Weekend and Sunshine with Georgia and JJ

Georgia: It appears that the door to the porch is open.

I should go out as it is sunny.

The couch feels pretty comfy. Maybe a good place for a  nap.

Yup, this is a good place to relax.

JJ: I could not agree more Georgia..

This sun feels so good!

Oh warm sunbeams,come and warm my furs!

I really like being on the porch when it is warm.

It feels so nice.

We all know that Julie is the porch queen, but something is

keeping her inside.
