Monday Funday !

Julie: Last weekend, our Vet had an Open House.

Mum went and bought raffle tickets on this basket

and she won!

Here I am posing with the basket.

Georgia: Look at the goodies. There are a few things for a dog,

and things for cats! Mum will give the doggie stuff to a friend.

Mmmmmmmmm, this stuff looks good. I see treats and toys.
Mum likes the bag of Dental cat food.
Guess we will be getting some of that.

Mum also spent some time in town.

While touring a ship in the harbour,mum took this picture.

There were lots of people there!

Any celebration does not get started until there is a

bit of "Chaos" 

Hahahahaha!

When it was time to leave,mum crossed the harbour on a 

ferry just like the one in the picture. That one is headed to Halifax

Today is "Natal Day"

That means it is the birthday of the city of Halifax.

Today, Halifax is 121 years old!

Lazy Summer Days with Georgia

Georgia:  Hi friends. Hope you all had a good weekend.

I know what you're thinking.

This actually is quire comfy.

It's just a place to lean my head.

It was quite warm this weekend and we all just lazed around.

Treasure likes this spot as it is cool and comfy.

He sleeps there a lot.

JJ does not have a fave sleeping spot.

He likes them all.

However, he  spends more time on the porch.

Watching Rocky Raccoon

Julie: Mum has often seen cherries on the grass when she goes

out to put seed in the bird feeder. Sometimes she finds

broken branches on the ground.

Early one morning at about sunrise she was up and

looked out the window and this is what she saw.

Yup, that's Rocky Raccoon!

Now we know why the cherries were on the ground

and branches were broken.

Rocky: What? Are you talkin' to me?

These cherries are up to high for you.

That's why I'm up here.

Seriously? You want me outta this tree?

Sheesh!

Geez lady! OK! OK!

Rocky left and ran home.

We think he changed hos visiting times  to make sure mum

is not around. MOL!

Whatever critters you see from your window, 

we purr you enjoy them.

Monday Musings with Georgia

Georgia: Another weekend has passed and it was good.

The weather was hot and sunny.

Just before supper on Sunday, we had a rain shower.

I enjoyed spending time in this old office chair.

Can you see how I have it nicely furred up?

JJ: We all love the porch and there is one really good reason

why. It opens into the kitchen! I can sit here and watch mum.

If she gets out any food, I'm right there!

Treasure: Mum, don't you know that I am trying to sleep?

Wake me only when it's meal time.

Julie: I am sitting here waiting for mum to put that camera

down and get the supper ready. Come on mum !

I'm hungry!

Finally Friday !

When you see a picture like this, you know mum has

not been bothering us with that camera.

You also know that she is lazy busy.

Well, since it IS Summer, we'll let her off the hook.

She can have it easy too!

Georgia: Often when mum goes to work, we kitties

like to have a good snooze. Well, actually we like to

snooze anytime. 

Today is pretty grey and rainy, so it is

purrfect for snoozing.

JJ agrees.

So does Treasure, though he did open his eyes for a sec.

Even Julie likes to snooze,except when something sparks her

interest. What could that be?

Gotcha Day and Close Ups

Georgia: Today is Friday and that means the weekend!

We love that because it means mum time.

It will be rainy this weekend, but that does not

matter as we are indoor cats. It just means we won't

get that glorious sun warming our furs!

We will get scritches and tummy rubs though.

Even though Julie did not come here until 2012, she 

came here on July 7!
